gotta have 'em Save your shoes. Use a proper shoe tree. Not the plastic onces from Walgreens, or the metal ones your dad had. these are the bomb, and right sized for your shoe. October 21, 2012
Cedar shoe trees are a MUST with every shoe Purchase! I have many pairs of Fine leather shoes. Most of them are Allen Edmonds of course. Many of them are well over 15 yrs old,but they look almost Brand New!. I feel the reason is that when I Buy any good pair of Leather shoes,I always Get a pair of Cedar Shoe trees to go with them. Trust me,If You always use a good shoe Polish and Keep your shoes in trees when you're not wearing them they'll Be in great shape for a lifetime. For a size 10.5 shoe, we recommend basing our Shoe Tree size chart off of the medium or D width. In this case, we would recommend a size Large shoe tree.

I need to keep my shoes in shape and dry, but I also need to stretch them. Would the adjustable split-toe trees work for this purpose, too? I wear woman's 10,5 M size shoes. Would it help if I buy 11L and have them work as stretchers?

While our Full-toe Cedar Shoe Trees continue to be the more popular style among customers, the Combination Shoe Tree features an overhang heel and an expandable split-toe also making this a highly functional shoe tree. The main purpose of shoe trees is to deodorize and maintain the shape of your shoes; either option will work well.

Dear Allen Edmonds,

I just purchased my first pair of your shoes, the Brown Burnished Calf Fifth Avenues. I'd like to ensure their durability and am prepared to buy one of your cedar shoe trees.

My question: if I plan to use the tree for both the Fifth Avenue and a non-AE shoe, would I be sacrificing durability to any great extent by using the Combination Tree, rather than the Full Toe Tree? Would it be unwise to use the same for each?
