The Faribault Mill began making blankets for the military as early as 1897. The Foot Soldier is made to the same military specification being used since at least 1917. Originally designed to accommodate the widely varying temperatures of Cadet sleeping quarters, the "double cloth" construction of this blanket results in a warm, heavy, yet breathable product. Available in two military spec colors and finishes: U.S. Navy solid gray and U.S. Army solid green. Permanently moth-proofed, 100% pure wool.
