I need to preface my comments by saying that this pair was the third pair of AE's I purchased. I loved the other two. These were also clearly exceptional AE quality in terms of materials and fit. I especially also love the grip of the outer sole.
I ordered mine through the mail, and unfortunately, they arrived with some color issues. One is clearly darker than the other. The darker one looks as if it is oiled or darker due to moisture or perhaps staining.
I contacted AE and was not satisfied with the response I received, so I am afraid this experience will be my last AE purchase.
I do believe mine is most likely an exceptional case and would still recommend them if the buyer could see them first. I would not ever trust their QC department for purchase through mail though, and I am obviously not a fan of their customer service department.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I was looking for an AE casual shoe, and decided on these because I like the 5 last fit, and the design was similar to my Strands. I could not be more pleased with the look and the comfort. I was pleasantly surprised that they run a little wider than the 5th Ave and Strands, thus making it more comfortable for all day walking.

Though the Kiowa has a waterproof rubber sole, the upper of this style is made of natural leather and so is not waterproof.

We offer Allen Edmonds Spray Waterproofer to provide a layer of protection against dirt and water. We also offer Swims Classic Overshoes in a variety of colors which are a great way to protect your investments.

Left Foot is wider

I have over dozen pairs of AE shoes, but I am not able to wear most of them due to my left foot being wider than the right foot.

I usually wear size 10 of AE shoes, few weeks ago I bought Kenilworth (Brown), length wise that shoe is perfect but width on left shoe just feels too tight.

Please advice.

How To Measure Your Feet For The Best Fit

With more and more customers preferring the convenience of online shopping, we've developed easy-to-use tools to help ensure you take accurate measurements and get the proper fit with your shoes. To get a truly professional fitting, we recommend visiting an Allen Edmonds Master Fitter at any one of our retail stores. However, if an Allen Edmonds store is not located near you, this Shoe Fit Guide is designed to help ensure your Allen Edmonds shoes are the best possible fit.

Helpful Tools

Tip #1: Measure At A Time That Fits
Feet tend to swell in different circumstances and at different times of the day. We suggest you measure your feet during the midday or late afternoon after you have been on your feet for some time.

Tip #2: Wear Socks When Measuring
Wear the type of socks that you'll likely be wearing with your new shoes, as the thickness of the socks may affect your measurements.

Tip #3: Stand Straight and Balanced
When you do the measuring, be sure both feet are on the ground and you're balanced and straight to get the proper foot placement.

Tip #4: Get Someone To Help You
You need to have a friend help you take the measurements because if you were to try to take your measurements yourself, when bending down to mark your length and width, your sizing would be affected. Make sure your friend takes your measurements looking straight down at the Shoe Fit Guide. Even viewing it at a slight angle may affect the outcome.

Tip #5: Give Yourself A Bit of Room
If your measurement is on a length line, we recommend you go to the next half-size longer in order to give your toes a bit of room.

Tip #6: One Foot Larger Is Common
Almost everyone has one foot larger than the other. The key is to determine your size from the measurement of the larger of your two feet. And obviously, be sure to measure both feet.
