Yes, you can apply our Allen Edmonds Conditioner Cleaner regularly to remove surface area residue and to keep leather soft and pliable. To achieve a fine luster, wipe shoes with a damp cloth and allow them to dry at room temperature.

Follow by applying a coat of Allen Edmonds Premium Shoe Polish as needed or desired for shine with a cloth or horsehair dauber and allow to air dry. Remove excess polish by brushing with a horsehair shine brush and buff to a desired shine.

Because of the oils in most salad dressings, there is little that can be done to completely remove the stain. Our Conditioner Cleaner will only remove surface area residue.

Our Recrafting process may be the best option for you as they may be able to refinish the shoes and remove the stain depending on the previous shoe care regimen. If you are unsure if your shoes can be refinished, call Allen Edmonds Recrafting Consumer Service or bring them to an Allen Edmonds Company-Owned Retail Store. For the Park Avenue style in Merlot Burnished Calf, we recommend using Conditioner Cleaner, Merlot Premium Shoe Polish, Burgundy Shoe Cream, or Burgundy Carnauba Wax, and Black Heel and Sole Edge Dressing when caring for your shoes. Allen Edmonds Shoe Polish is best used for regular polishing and achieving a lustrous glow, Allen Edmonds Shoe Cream is formulated to renew the color of your calfskin shoes, while our Carnauba Wax is known for imparting a richer glow to fine leathers. The choice between the three really comes down to individual preference on how shiny or rich in color you want your Allen Edmonds shoes to be.

Use Allen Edmonds Conditioner Cleaner to remove surface residue and to keep leather soft and pliable.
