Cronmok - Unstructured Wingtip Lace-up Oxford Men's Casual Shoes by Allen Edmonds

Did someone say wingtips are only reserved for business meetings? If so, it wasn't us. The new Cronmok, one of the latest entries in our new array of unconstructed shoes, is all about fun. Yes, we gave it all the classic brogue features - perfing and pinking like only Allen Edmonds can do - but after that we decided to mix things up a bit. With no inner lining ("unconstructed"), this lightweight, low-ankle boot envelops your forefoot to create an unbelievably comfortable fit and lend it a cool broken-in look right out of the gate. Available in three colors - tan, brown, and blue - the Cronmok is casual enough to sport with your favorite band's t-shirt and fun enough to break the ice on a first date. Finished with a comfortable insole and a rubber tap sole on the front and heel, the Cronmok is perfect for the guy who walks to the beat of his own drummer.

Cronmok Tan Leather Wingtip Boots 4.7 5 33 33

Beautiful but not Comfortable This is my second day of wearing these boots. I understand that boots often require breaking in before they reach their maximal comfort level, but thus far these boots have been dismally uncomfortable, particularly the footbed and the toe box. My Cronmoks seem to have slight bumps in the upper part of the insole that digs into the feet and causes irritation and pain even after moderate periods of walking. The leather that covers the top of the feet near the toes are much too close fitting and inflexible, strangling and constricting the natural movement of the feet when they move. A minor annoyance was an aesthetic defect on the side of the boot: a part of the leather had some discolouration, and if I were to describe it, it looked similar to a circular oil stain that one sees after a drip of oil is placed on paper. (I realize the Cronmoks are meant to have a distressed and more natural look to the leather, but this discolouration did not seem to be of that kind). All this aside, these boots look absolutely incredible. I've already received several compliments. April 24, 2013

Very distinctive boot! I've had these for a few weeks now and I have received LOTS of compliments on the shoe. They pair great with jeans. The boots are super comfortable right out of the box. I wear a size 14 and I appreciate that Allen Edmonds offers so many styles in that size. March 10, 2013

Most comfortable AE shoe yet! I have many pairs of AE shoes (just ask my wife), but I believe these are the most comfortable yet. Something about the way the unstructured boot wraps around the feet. Great feel. Also love the tan color; killer look with jeans , kakis and most other slacks. V-tap sole is a plus too. February 27, 2013

Interesting, comfortable shoe! These shoes are SO comfortable, right out of the box. I have the blue ones, and the color works really well with jeans and twill slacks. V-tap sole is easy to wear, all day long- on any surface. My sons, late 30's, and son-in-law, mid-30's, all want a pair. I get a lot of compliments on the shoe- you can't go wrong with it!
