Keep in mind, our belts are measured from the inside edge of the buckle to the center hole. Because of this, we recommend selecting a belt one full size larger than your waist size. For example, if the waist size on your slacks or pant size is a 36" we recommend ordering a 38" belt.

I really want to like this belt, but... I have the Madison belt in both dark brown and black, and while I love the style, quality materials, and comfort of the belt, the construction leaves much to be desired. I have had issues with the nylon twine coming undone. Unfortunately it has taken a flame and some quick action on my part to keep the twine from unraveling more, which considering the price of this belt, I expected a bit more life from the product. I've have been rotating these belts with a couple of others for a year now, so everyday use is not the issue. I also have lost a bit of weight, so it is not as if I am putting a whole lot of strain on the item. I'm actually down to the last hole on the inside. Anyway, I really wish I could like this belt. It's great in all ways except for a really important one, construction. February 13, 2013

Scratches too easily At first I was really impressed by the leather quality. The belt was very soft and smelled great. Unfortunately, after just one wear, the belt is covered in unsightly scratches and scuffs. I've tried buffing them off, but they seem to be permanent. I'd much rather have a stiffer belt that resists scuffing. October 13, 2012

Quite simply, the best belt I have ever bought! There is something to be said for simplicity. The design of this belt may be understated, but when looking for a casual belt that is durable and comfortable, this is it! I love buying made in U.S.A. items, especially when they are high quality.
