Aberdeen - Long Wingtip Lace-up Oxford Men's Casual Shoes by Allen Edmonds
Whoever was the first person to say, "Everything old is new again" we can't help but think they were talking about the Aberdeen. An updated version of a shoe originally created in the 1940s, this four-eyelet blucher's throwback look is once again fashionable. Outfitted with a long-wing reminiscent of our timeless MacNeil, this design stands apart thanks to its more dramatic toe design and larger perforations along throat, wing and backstay. If you are looking for a classic feel, try on a pair in the Brown Grain leather. For those looking to convey a little more personality, check out the Smokey Grey and Tan Dublin styles, which patina differently depending on where and how you wear them. Traditional yet modern, old school but still the newest fashion, the Aberdeen is one shoe that can be everything to everyone.

How does the shoe fit. Does it run small or does it run larger than true size
Answers
Hope this helps.
The Jefferson style is manufactured on our 5-Last (65), which is the longest in length of our lasts, and fits best on a long, narrow foot. Meanwhile, the Aberdeen is constructed on our 2-Last (222). The 2-Last features an elongated toe with a slightly higher instep, and is very similar to the 8-Last (108) in that it also has an elongated forepart, only with a tapered and flatter toe. By selecting shoes manufactured on the same last that most resembles the contours of oneâs feet, customers will achieve a superior fit.
Typically the same size and last can be ordered in all of our shoes. However, each style can fit differently based on individual foot shape. The best way to get a proper fit is to visit a master fitter in one of our retail stores. If this is not possible, keep in mind that products purchased on allenedmonds.com may be returned at any time, as long as the item is unused and accompanied by the packing slip. Trying the shoes on a carpeted surface will help prevent scuffing on the sole and keep the shoe in returnable condition.

Though our online Shoe Fit Guide is designed to help ensure your Allen Edmonds shoes are the best possible fit, we still recommend getting a proper fit by a master fitter in one of our retail stores. Since this is not possible, keep in mind that products purchased on allenedmonds.com may be returned at any time, as long as the item is unused and accompanied by the packing slip. Trying the shoes on a carpeted surface will help prevent scuffing on the sole and keep the shoe in returnable condition.
Assuming your measurements are accurate, we recommend ordering the Aberdeen style in the E width.
