Cottonwood - Men's Premium Leather Casual Belts by Allen Edmonds

Color us excited about this belt. Crafted with distressed leather and available in five distinct hues - black, olive, navy, red and tan, this belt captures the ruggedness and playfulness of our Rough Collection shoes like the Neumok or the more colorful additions to our line like the Finch or Sedona. The natural stitching heightens the vibrancy of the colors and the patina of the leather to create a belt that will have others green with envy while you are over the rainbow with delight.

  • Premium leather men's casual belts
  • Distressed leather
  • Made in the USA

Size & Fit Guide

Keep in mind, our belts are measured from the inside edge of the buckle to the center hole. Because of this, we recommend selecting a belt one full size larger than your waist size. For example, if the waist size on your slacks or pant size is a 36" we recommend ordering a 38" belt.

  • Manufactured with five distinct belt holes, placed 1 inch apart from one another
  • 38mm wide

Bought this belt to match my Red Neumok shoes I have the Red version of this belt and wear it with my Red Neumok shoes. I'm not sure why everyone has posted bad reviews. It's a basic belt made in unique colors to go with a casual shoe. I'm thankful AE makes it so I can look "put together" when going out. I'm thinking of buying the blue and olive versions of this belt, too. If you want something of higher quality leather, etc. then spend 2-3 times as much but it won't go well with the look of the shoe. Anyway, you get what you pay for and I consider this a good value. Have you been to Ferragamo or Zegna recently? Good luck finding anything below $300-$400 that looks somewhat reasonable (I speak from experience). February 21, 2013
This belt doesn't seem to be sized right I recently bought this belt. I cannot remember from whom; it may not have been from AE directly. When I first opened the box I didn't think it was real leather...I thought "artificial". I was uneasy about sizing so I followed the directions to the letter. I normallywear a size 36 waist so I moved up to a size 38 belt. Now, as I understand it I should have measured from the end of the belt where the buckle is, but not the buckle. I should have measured measured 38 inches to the center hole which is a pretty good idea...if done right. So I would have two holes on either side of the center hole...so I could have moved up or down as my weight increases or decreases...but it is NOT 38 inches to the center hole; it is 38 inches to the second hole. I believe you guys have mis-measured the thing. And as my weight is down a little due to the summer heat I have to cinch the thing all the way to the last hole. It'll work, but it doesnt look good. And if I were to lose a couple more pounds I'd have to start poking holes in the thing..making it look even worse than it does. I'm diappointed; I'm not asking for anything since I think I waited to long to complain. I just wanted to get it off my chest. August 10, 2012
very bad quality product not for Allen Edmonds I am a fan of Allen Edmonds products, shoes and belts. I have almost the whole collection with more than 20 diferents styles and 6 belts. For that reason I do not undestrand why this belt is made with very bad quality leather. I understand the concept of the shoe model Neumok as "not finished shoe" but they are great. I bought a pair in red and when I saw in the web page the Cottonwood Belt I went to the store to buy it to match with my shoes. The people at the store in San Francisco are the most nice salesmen that you can encounter. They told me that they have only one of my size on display but it had some mark of decoloration made when it was bended. They ordered a new one for me that I received by delivery mail. As soon as I opened it to try on, a lot of decoloration marks were formed in all the body of the belt as a result of minimun presure on it. The belt has spots in different red color that looks like the cheaper ever I had. This does not correspond to the quality of Allend Edmonds products. July 16, 2012
Great Belt I purchased a pair of Finchs in the tan blue combination and as I was waiting at the Port Washington and happened to see this belt and I could not help myself. A little more expensive than I would normally pay for a belt it went so perfectly I had to throw it in. So glad I did it works fantastically and as always the quality is unmatched, an excellent purchase. June 16, 2012

I am interested in purchasing a couple of pairs of the Neumok. Specifically, I want two out of the three: Olive, Red, & Navy. I am wondering if this belt in Red, Navy matches the Neumok closely in Red, Navy (I note that in a similar question asked under the Neumok shoe's page this is not one of your recommended belt pairings). They look very similar, but digital pictures can be deceiving.

Secondly, Is this belt possibly going to be offered in Olive, or is the Smith Belt the only option you offer to pair with an Olive shoe?

Answer:
I bought the red version of the Cottonwood belt to go with my red Neumok shoes and it looks great. The other colors will look nice, too (yes, it comes in Olive). This is the belt the store recommends to go with the shoe.

Answer:
The shoes model Neumok are great eventhough they are not suposedly finshed. The colors are nice and it depends what if your favorite. Be careful with the belt to match this shoes because in the case of the red color it is very bad made because it decolorates whit the minimun presure on the surface with spots and looks very cheap.

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in Allen Edmonds.

Yes, the Cottonwood belt style was designed to coordinate with the Neumok. The Navy and Red Distressed Leather match well with our Blue Leather and Red Leather Neumok styles.

Although our product development team is working on a coordinating Olive Distressed Leather Cottonwood belt, there is currently no set time on when it will become available for sale.

Please feel free to contact us with any additional questions.
