Keep in mind, our belts are measured from the inside edge of the buckle to the center hole. Because of this, we recommend selecting a belt one full size larger than your waist size. For example, if the waist size on your slacks or pant size is a 36" we recommend ordering a 38" belt.

Good Shell Cordovan belt
I bought this belt to go with a pair of burgundy shell cordovan Bradleys and also a pair of Aldens in color #8 shell cordovan. The burgundy of the belt is much more "red" compared to the Bradleys, which are over 1 year old at the time of the belt purchase and have a darker and more brown-ish color. I assume the belt will darken over time, but even if it doesn't, I think it works fine with the Bradleys as well as my color #8 shoes.
The quality of the belt is very good. I think it's a high quality product and somewhat of a good value for a shell cordovan belt, especially if you get it during a sale. Shell cordovan does tend to scratch easily, but the scratches are just as easily removed by brushing and/or buffing. I use the same conditioner on this belt as my shell cordovan shoes and it has looked good during the half year or so since I bought it.
I would say that the sizing is very good. I wear size 32 pants and usually buy size 34 belts. This belt in size 34 fastens exactly at the middle hole, so I can't ask for much better sizing.
Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase.

The product was not up to the standard!
I bought two cordovan belts one in black and the other in burgundy colours and the quality was not as I expected comparing to the price! As I live in the UK , I was so happy and looking forward receiving them but it took sometime until I received them then I found scratches all over the belts and it looks in poor condition like been worn! I still wear it now and then a maximum of two times as I paid a lot of money for the items and the international delivery plus vat! Very very disappointed and will never buy anything from this store again.

Pleased Overall
I bought this to match all my Shell Cordovan shoes. I am a 33 waist and went with the 36 belt. Generally you go for the middle of the 5 holes and for anyone else with a 33 waist or odd number, who wants to know I use one hole smaller than the middle hole and it looks nice. The size 34 belt I would have to use one hole larger than the middle hole and it started looking too short.
It's pretty plain as far as belts go, which I like. The brushed nickel is nice and probably up on todays fashion but doesn't appeal too much to my taste, I would have like to be able to choose a gold tone.
It's a good idea to have some Venetian cream or the Allen Edmonds Cordovan cream around to rub in and brush just like a pair of shoes. After a number of wearings it can get some scuffs and look dull and the cream brings back that deep shine.
All in all I wear the belt a couple times every week and would definatlely recommend it to others.

Poor Finish to a Potentially Nice Belt
I was in search of a belt to match my Alden cordovan shoes. (Alden, for whatever reason, cannot seem to supply retailers with its outsourced belts.) While the Cordovan Tab Belt was a decent enough color match to my Alden Color 8 Shell Cordovans, the finishing left much to be desired. Sections of the belt were still in a fairly rough state, and the belt did not have a consistent depth of color. If not for the poor attention to detail, I would have kept it. At this price point, one would expect a higher level of quality control.
