Woven Dress Shirt Collection by Allen Edmonds
Be it a pair of shoes, a baseball glove, or even a car, every dad has something that his son knows he loves and, therefore, that the son loves too. For our head designer it was his dad's khaki dress shirt from World War II. Unable to find its match, it inspired him to create this version. Like the original, ours places the highest premium on materials. The height of the twill and luster of 60s grade two-ply cotton give the shirt a luxurious feel and glow that is not often seen in a button down. We've kept the flap pockets and resin buttons to maintain its military heritage and lend it a down-to-earth, practical vibe. The khaki version has a slightly earthy attitude and goes great with jeans while the white version can pair with a sport coat for a more refined look. Which ever you choose, you can bet your son will be counting the days till he can get one of his own. - 100% cotton

A man's shirt
This shirt is great. Built very heavy and looks like it will take punishment before it wears out. I plan on wearing this shirt more for casual than dress though the white could go either way. If you're on the fence on this one buy it. TB

I purchased a large in both colors and they fit perfect. At 100% cotton (even washing in cold water) I'm fearful they will shrink. Should I go XL?

Hi,
Your size chart says that a SMALL is chest size 42. Normally, that is a medium to large (i.e. 36-38 S, 38-40 M, 40-42 L). Is this correct-are these shirts sized large or is this an error in the size chart?

My closet is filled with A&E shoes including custom-mades. The fit and quality are outstanding and the shoes are made in USA. Now you are offering these great looking shirts and 100% and made in USA.
For many years, it has been nearly impossible to find a dress shirt that has classic, traditional tailoring, in 100% cotton and made in USA. I do not buy shirts from China, Pakistan or other countries that are not our friends. This is great news! Who is making these shirts for you?
