Overview

This clearance shoe is a closeout style, and is therefore limited to the sizes and widths that are currently available online.

"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." Those are the words of Leonardo daVinci, who brought that sensibility to all of his artistic endeavors, including the many footwear prototypes he sketched out. In creating the Leeds, we combined this Italian's artistic notion with a uniquely American design to produce a shoe that is at once aesthetically pleasing while also being inherently straightforward. This model's handsome plain-toe and blucher vamp combine to create a traditional look that blends perfectly with any outfit, from a suit to khakis and even jeans. Of course, simple doesn't have to mean boring, so we added an intricate arch saddle-stitch and a double oak leather sole to give the Leeds just the right hint of refinement. Throw in the comfort that comes with the wider girth and more rounded, fuller toe of this 1-Last shoe, and you've got a fashionable, foot-friendly design that even an Old Master would be proud to wear.

Product Care

Allen Edmonds Shoe Care

When caring for your calfskin, use Allen Edmonds Conditioner Cleaner to remove surface residue and to keep leather soft and pliable. To achieve a fine luster, wipe shoes with a damp cloth and allow them to air dry at room temperature. Then, apply a coat of Allen Edmonds Premium Shoe Polish with a cloth or horsehair dauber and allow to air dry.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MikeE Very Poor Quality - Leather Warped I bought these roughly six months ago, and was really excited to get them when they arrived in the mail approximately six weeks later. I had heard great things about Allen Edmonds shoes, and thought they would go nicely with a navy suit that I like to wear in court. Taking them out of the box, they looked great, just like they did in the store. Unfortunately, since I received them, I've only worn them a handful of times. The reason that I have not worn them very much is that the leather on the front of the shoe, starting at the instep and up and over arches has buckled and warped (almost like waves, although I'm not sure how to describe it--definitely not normal in my experience). Frankly, the shoes look shabby and of very low quality. As a result, they've stayed on shoe trees for the most part. Although these were much more expensive than what I have spent in the past for a pair of shoes, but I was glad to pay the $650 for what I believed would be alight quality product. I have been greatly disappointed. December 29, 2015

The fit (compared with other AE in the same size) was not given, after 300 feets walking around there was some pressure on the toes. Could reduce it a bit with grease and widening, but not satisfying at all. Also the appearance of the material was poor. October 9, 2015

Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed76 Lacking QC for $650 shoe I returned the first pair because the eyelets were sewn own crookedly on both shoes. I received a second pair 6-weeks later, and this time only only of the shoes have misaligned eyelets. Disappointing QC from AE as of late. Purchasing 1st quality shoes has turned into a roll of the dice as to whether or not I will actually receive "1st quality" product. August 31, 2015
