Overview

While supplies last. Limited to the sizes and widths that are currently available online.

First introduced in 1956 and brought back by popular demand in 2009, this model is our ode to a style that dates back hundreds of years. You see, originally, the wingtip gained popularity in Scotland because its secondary trim provided extra protection from the Highland's rocky crags and its perforations allowed water to drain from shoe as a highlander traversed boggy landscapes. Over the years, this dress brogue has remained a must-have model because its traditional 5-Last fit, sturdy leather sole and the strength conveyed by the short wings instill a sense of confidence to anyone who wears them. Of course, it doesn't hurt that the perfing on the wing, throat and backstay along with the pinking and intricate toe medallion also make these shoes as refined as they are enduring. And just as it has evolved from its humble beginnings into the quintessential business shoe, the McAllister is perfect for the man who is making his way in the world, but hasn't forgot where he came from.

Product Care

Allen Edmonds Shoe Care

When caring for your calfskin, use Allen Edmonds Leather Lotion to remove surface residue and to keep leather soft and pliable. To achieve a fine luster, wipe shoes with a damp cloth and allow them to air dry at room temperature. Then, apply a coat of Allen Edmonds Premium Shoe Polish with a cloth or horsehair dauber and allow to air dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Allen Edmond is the best shoes in the world Iam the one who always wear Allen Edmond shoes because is so comfortable the skin and the soles are very strong and quality. All my friends I tell them that if they want to buy the quality and comfortable shoes there is only one name Allen Edmond shoes August 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by The photo doesn't do it justice These shoes are by far the most beautiful shoes I've ever owned. I purchased them on sale and took the risk of partially guessing on size--but boy was that a great decision! The picture doesn't show the shoe's true richness and color. Fresh out of the box, the leather is rich and supple. I'm so glad I purchased this color over all of the others. Additionally, the customer service team was informative and helpful--they helped me size these shoes perfectly. July 22, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Quality This is my first pair of Allen Edmonds all leather premium shoes. I am the guy that would not pay over $105 for a pair of dress shoes. Then I saw a pair of Allen Edmonds and said one day I will get me a pair. Well that day has come and I'll tell you this, I brought a pair of McAllister Wingtip Oxford. It's a beautiful well crafted shoe, and it's very comfortable after you break them in. The leather is a little stiff when you first put them on but they do break in, in about 2 months. Make sure to get your shoe size measured correctly. Learn about the lasts. You want the shoe to be a little snug so you can break them in right. Not to loose. A well made classic shoe of excellent quality and this shoe is recrafable. Don't forget made in the USA baby. I do plan to buy another pair. July 15, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent shoe Researched online, measured with Brannock device and took a chance on 65 last and size. Worked out perfectly. Shoes are very comfortable from the first wear and are improving in 2 weeks of wear. Only issue was the left shoe cut into the bottom of my ankle bone. As the shoes broke in this has gone away. Will definitely consider other shoes in the future - I normally wear orthotics so it may be in the removable insole series. Expensive to ship to Canada with the current exchange rate. July 14, 2016

Answer:
The McAllister was not designed with an orthotic fit in mind and so it does not feature a removable insole. We suggest taking a look at the LGA style which is a wingtip that features removable insoles.

It is important to keep in mind that the use of an orthotic will alter the way a shoe fits; we recommend trying on your orthotics with the shoes or visiting one of our master fitters at our retail stores as they can recommend the best possible fit.
