Sanibel Island is a paradise for rest and relaxation, and we’ve brought that same feeling to this classic loafer. Unadorned except for the handsome hand sewn stitching across the toe, this style’s simplicity is its calling card as well as the reason it is versatile enough to go from day to night or denim to wool without missing a beat. Newly styled with a wider toe and supple calfskin, this loafer takes comfort to a whole new level. Regular Size Run

Product Care

Allen Edmonds Shoe Care

When caring for your calfskin, use Allen Edmonds Leather Lotion to remove surface residue and to keep leather soft and pliable. To achieve a fine luster, wipe shoes with a damp cloth and allow them to air dry at room temperature. Then, apply a coat of Allen Edmonds Premium Shoe Polish with a cloth or horsehair dauber and allow to air dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by The most comfortable loafers I've ever owned I was a bit skeptical even though I owned a couple other Edmond Allen shoes (Mcallister and strap monks) but they very comfortable and look great casual or with a bussines attire . July 13, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Shoe with Slightly Different Broader Look vs. Classic Pointed Allen Edmonds Shoe The Sanibel shoe was the first pair I purchased from Allen Edmonds collection. Initially, they were a bit uncomfortable and I wore blisters on both of my heels that took several weeks to heal. After healing, I was able to wear them for a few weeks and really put a couple of miles on them, they have softened and since, have been very comfortable. I appreciate my Sanibles for the style of the broader toe it comes with. Although the toe is round and I, prior to buying Allen Edmonds shoes, like a square toe (Which Allen Edmonds really do not offer), they seem to offer a more contemporary look. In addition, I love that I can slip in and out of them at the airport, as I am a frequent traveler. Convenience is great and must have when traveling. The shoe has thus far shown almost no wear in leather with discoloration/crinkles and the stitching has held up great. I love the fact they are recraftable as well. After, a long day of walking I do notice some fatigue in my feet, but for the price/ value (for the working buyer), I would recommend this shoe to any buyer. June 24, 2016
