Overview

Edwin W. Pauley Pavilion, opened in 1965, is named for a University of California Regent who donated almost one-fifth of the cost to build the arena. From 1967-75, the Bruin men's basketball team won 149 out of 151 home games which led to 8 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championships in that time period. The Pavilion hosted its first NCAA Regional Finals in 1969. From the 1970-2000s, the arena was the site of Volleyball Championships, Women's Basketball Championships, and numerous other sports, political and pop culture events. The wood used to make this item came from the court floor replaced during the 2011 renovation. For more information, please visit Collegiate Authentication.
