Overview

We recommend using full-toe shoe trees after each wearing of your Allen Edmonds to maintain the regular shape of your shoes. Allen Edmonds full toe trees are contoured to complement the lasts that we use in manufacturing our footwear and feature ventilation slots to quickly dissipate moisture. Looking for trees for a non-Allen Edmonds pair of shoes? Our Combination Cedar Shoe Trees are designed to adjust to accommodate the shape of any brand shoe.

We started making cedar products 20 years ago, for the fact that when you make shoes that are timeless classics you should also make the highest quality shoe trees so that customers can protect and preserve their footwear. Sourced from the best cedar trees in Arkansas, our shoe and wardrobe-care products have an attractive red hue because 75% of the wood we use is from the water conducting heartwood of the plant; a key factor in keeping your apparel dry and free of damaging molds. So whether you are looking to safeguard your shoes, clothes, ties or belt, our cedar products (which also naturally repel moths) make sure your Allen Edmonds shoes and other attire endure as long as their style.

Reviews
Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 83 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent and Essential These are absolutely excellent and essential. Excellent quality shoe trees. I have one pair for each pair of shoes I own. I prefer these over the combination shoe trees. I find these to be a bit easier in and out, but I can understand how the combo ones could be more beneficial. Overall, love these and appreciate that they go on sale at 2 for $40 every now and then. October 24, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Wood split after two uses one of the tree's split removing them from the shoes after two uses. i tried to glue the damaged wood, we'll see if it holds. i would not recommend again. October 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 Overall, good quality Would be good if these came in narrow (B) width. As it is, it doesn't fit into the toe of the shoes. September 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by amazing Since switching to the Allen Edmonds line of shoes I am very satisfied with the product iand your craftsmanship. September 10, 2015

Thank you for your interest in Allen Edmonds.

Because the Full-toe Cedar Shoe Trees were designed to accommodate the various lasts used for different styles, we recommend the Medium Full-toe Cedar Shoe trees for a size 8.5 EEE.

I have a new pair of your Ascher shoe in size 13 D. The shoe tree that I ordered is size XL. It seems to be a tight fit. It appears that this is the correct size shoe tree for my shoes based on the guidance on your website. Will this shoe tree stretch out my shoes too much? I don't want the shape of the heel to be changed by the shoe tree.

Thank you.

Answer:
That is correct, the shoe tree size chart does recommend a size XL shoe tree for a 13D men's shoe size, however this should be used as a general guideline as the fit will be affected by the shape of the shoe itself; for example, some shoe styles are narrower or tighter fitting that others and you may need to adjust accordingly.

Keep in mind, while shoe trees should fit snuggly inside the shoe, you shouldn't have to use much force to insert or take out the shoe trees. If you feel they are too tight, we recommend exchanging them for a Large. Alternatively, you could also get an XL Combination Shoe Tree since they are a bit narrower than the Full-Toe and more flexible.

Immediately unless there is a specific reason not to. For leather shoes, trees are an important part of drying shoes correctly (from sweat).

Answer:
Depending on the local climate, we suggest letting the shoes rest, away from heat, and without shoe trees to air out any excess moisture, and then inserting the shoes trees before letting them dry completely. A general guideline is to take your shoes off when getting home from work, and then insert the shoe trees before going to bed and keeping them in the shoes until the next time you wear them. Keep in mind, we recommend rotating fine leather shoes and wearing them no more than 2 or 3 times per week.
