PRESTIGE PACKAGE
Our top Recrafting package restores worn shoes as nearly as possible to their
original condition. We begin with total Recrafting: all new soles, heels,
welting, cork footbeds and laces, exactly duplicating the original manufacturing
process. Next, we completely refinish the uppers and hand polish the rejuvenated
leather to a rich glow. Finally, we fit the shoes with aromatic cedar shoe trees
and place them in flannel shoe bags. $120.00/pair*

STANDARD PACKAGE
This is identical to our Prestige Package, only without the shoe trees and
flannel shoe bags. First, we remove old soles, heels, welting, cork footbeds and
laces, replacing them with brand-new materials. Then we strip and refinish the
uppers, followed by careful hand polishing. $95/pair*

REFINISHING
In the refinishing process, we carefully strip away built-up layers of wax,
polish and dye. The next step is to restore the uppers as nearly as possible to
their original color and apply a brand-new protective finish. Finally, we wax
the shoes and hand polish them to a high luster. Suede shoes will be cleaned
rather than refinished. $40/pair*

NEW HEELS
After removing old heels, we replace them with new leather compound bases and
Allen-Edmonds rubber toplifts. Next, we trim the heels by hand, then ink and
burnish the edges before returning the shoes with a new spring in their step.

Recrafting is a registered trademark of the Allen-Edmonds Shoe Corporation. Our
Recrafting process is unique and proprietary and, as it replicates our
manufacturing process, can only be offered through our own manufacturing
locations. Any other offer or claim to do so is not authorized by our company.
Prior work on Allen-Edmonds shoes by other cobblers may prevent a shoe from
being able to go through our Recrafting process. Italian slip-on shoes and some
woven shoes cannot go through this process due to their construction.
Unfortunately, we may not be able to accept footwear with cut, torn or scuffed
uppers or badly cracked lining leathers. Older Vibram or rubber outsoles will be
replaced with current soles. Suede and nubuck shoes will be cleaned rather than
refinished.
