CARING FOR BURNISHED CALFSKIN
To remove the slight haze you may notice with a new pair of burnished calfskin shoes, wipe them with a soft cloth or brush with a horsehair brush. Clean regularly with a damp cloth and allow them to air dry. Then, using a soft cloth, apply a medium coat of Allen-Edmonds premium shoe polish in a suitable color and allow to air dry. Brush with a horsehair brush to remove excess polish and buff using a soft cotton flannel cloth.

The handsewns and driving mocs featured in the Casual Collection use a tubular moc construction. This technique allows the lower leather to be pulled up and stitched to the upper leather providing a snug fit much like that of a sock, resulting in an extremely comfortable and flexible shoe.
As with other Allen Edmonds shoes, we proudly source only the finest European leathers. The Allen Edmonds calfskin leather used in this collection has tighter pores than most competitive leathers, resulting in shoes that hold a shine better, are more durable and resist wrinkling.
