Disappointed in this shoe. The leather is soft and comfortable, but the sole offers virtually no support. I wear the Maritime everyday, it is an excellent shoe and a much better choice than the Center Fielder.

Good product, fair price...considering what is currently available in today's market for a similar product. Also, the company makes it fairly easy to do business with them...when you consider the commercial terms and conditions.

I wasn't expecting the comfort that these "boat shoes" were supposed to provide. I needed a shoe that was casual yet could be used in an office setting.
Aptly named Center Fielder, because these shoes knocked it out of the deepest part of the park. I couldn't believe it. Every time I wear them its like I'm not wearing shoes at all.
Buy two pairs in case one pair gets soaked.

Is the insole suppose to be only half (i.e. the padding goes up to the sesamoid bone)? the drop off where the insole padding ends and the unlined leather begins is unconformable when not wearing socks. anyone have any tips to mitigate this (without wearing socks)? will that droppoff eventually flatten out?
