Allen Edmonds Shoe Care
When caring for your calfskin, use Allen Edmonds Conditioner Cleaner to remove surface residue and to keep leather soft and pliable. To achieve a fine luster, wipe shoes with a damp cloth and allow them to air dry at room temperature. Then, apply a coat of Allen Edmonds Premium Shoe Polish with a cloth or horsehair dauber and allow to air dry.

My first pair of AE's were the Graysons. I've since purchased another pair and have a third pair on the way. I wore these shoes to the point where they had some salt stains on the black leather, the sole had worn through all the way to the leather that touched my foot and I had lost a tassel.
I was leery that this pair would be able to be re-crafted because of the condition of the shoes. I took them to a store outside of Boston and they said they looked like they should be re-craftable.
Three weeks later I received a pair of like new Graysons. These were even better than new because the foot bed was still worn in with my impression. I will never buy a different brand of dress shoes! Bravo!!

Finally found an Allen Edmonds loafer that doesn't have major slippage in the heal area when walking. I went a half size down at the suggestion of my salesman from my normal 10D. Only problem is that while the left shoe fits great the right feels too narrow in the toe box after I have started wearing them. I now believe I made a big mistake on size. I will probably try stretching although I don't think it will work. Too bad, because these are beautiful shoes.

Shoes fit perfectly. Leather very good. They take a high quality shine using Kelly's Professional Grade Oxblood Shoe Wax. I will order another pair of dress shoes in the same manner.

I have over 40 pairs of Allen Edmonds - size 9D. I have one pair, Bentons, of tie shoes with vibram soles in 9C. That's the only pair in all I have where I needed a size adjustment because of the heel box. I have two pairs of Graysons that fit the same as the rest of my shoes.Age: Over 65

Allen Edmonds shoes are constructed on a wide variety of lasts (foot molds) and each will feature unique fit characteristics. It is difficult to recommend a size through this channel and guarantee a proper fit. Each last will fit differently based on the contours of your feet. The Grayson is constructed on the 97 Last which is the best fit for the average foot, and it has a soft, slightly pointed toe.It is vitally important to visit a master fitter in one of our retail stores or retail partners to increase your chances of being fit correctly for each last and style. However, keep in mind that products purchased on allenedmonds.com may be returned at any time, as long as the item is unused and accompanied by the packing slip. Trying the shoes on a carpeted surface will help prevent scuffing on the sole and keep the shoes in returnable condition.

Is it possible to get the Manchester Loafers made up in Chili and Walnut in 13 3A (AAA) since it's not made anymore?
Obviously, I have an unusual foot size and the Manchester's (Black) that I have now is a snug fit. I also have the Grayson's in Black but the other colors of Grayson's that I've tried on, slip up and down on my feet like "Flip FLops".

The V-tread Combination Tap Sole is essentially a combination of a leather sole and a rubber sole. A leather sole has a special feel and traditional look that can't be beat. But in certain inclement weather situations or for guys whose jobs involve lots of time on their feet, it can be good to have the traction and stability that only a rubber sole can add.
