Overview
These loafers are the perfect traveling companion, so long as you don't stick a penny in the saddle (a no-no sure to draw the ire of both the fashion police and TSA). Not only will the slip-on loafer design help you get through airport security with minimal hassle, but the versatility inherent in the extended profile, single oak sole and raised stitching on the moccasin toe, means that this one shoe can cover all the events - work and play - that go along with an important business trip or just a busy home life. The Shell Cordovan styles feature Reddenbach single oak leather soles and dovetail toplifts for an even more sophisticated look. Whichever style you choose and no matter where you are, with the Randolph on your feet, you'll feel at home anywhere.
Allen Edmonds Shoe Care
When caring for your calfskin, use Allen Edmonds Conditioner Cleaner to remove surface residue and to keep leather soft and pliable. To achieve a fine luster, wipe shoes with a damp cloth and allow them to air dry at room temperature. Then, apply a coat of Allen Edmonds Premium Shoe Polish with a cloth or horsehair dauber and allow to air dry.

It is difficult to recommend a size through this channel and guarantee a proper fit because each last will fit differently based on the contours of your feet. It is vitally important to visit a master fitter in one of our retail stores or retail partners to increase your chances of being fit correctly for each last and style. However, keep in mind that products purchased on allenedmonds.com may be returned at any time, as long as the item is unused and accompanied by the packing slip. Trying the shoes on a carpeted surface will help prevent scuffing on the sole and keep the shoes in returnable condition.
Burgundy (Randolph):
A dark burgundy finish that contains highlights finished into the leather using the burnishing process. This is one of the darkest burgundy colors available.
Merlot (McAllister): this is also a burnished finish, but it is intended to have a lighter wine color to the leather. Depth to the finish is created through the burnishing process. While it’s lighter than Burgundy, it has more depth to the color.
Oxblood (Carlyle): Our newest burgundy shade and the lightest of the burgundy colors. It been described as a burnished cherry color.
Burgundy Gentry (Kenwood):
Gentry leather is a semi-polished calf. It has a smooth shiny finish from the tannery yet is fairly mono-tone… it contains very little in the way of highlights.
Burgundy Cordovan (Park Avenue):
Also called Black Cherry Shell Cordovan, it is a semi-glossy, smooth leather from the hide of a horse. Cordovan leather gets better and better looking with age. Over time, with proper care, the hide will obtain a very deep luster and patina.

The LaSalle style is manufactured on our 8-Last (108) which features an elongated forepart with a tapered and flatter toe. The Randolph is manufactured on our 9-Last (79) which has a tapered back portion that pushes the foot forward to fit low across the top of the foot rather than the instep. By selecting shoes manufactured on the same last that most resembles the contours of one’s feet, customers will achieve a superior fit. However, each style can fit differently based on individual foot shape.
