Product Care

Allen Edmonds Shoe Care

When caring for your calfskin, use Allen Edmonds Conditioner Cleaner to remove surface residue and to keep leather soft and pliable. To achieve a fine luster, wipe shoes with a damp cloth and allow them to air dry at room temperature. Then, apply a coat of Allen Edmonds Premium Shoe Polish with a cloth or horsehair dauber and allow to air dry.

The Dainite sole is visually close to a leather sole, you can't tell from the sides. Excellent choice for s sole to do a lot of walking in. I did not have trouble breaking them in. The shoes take a nice shine with Meltonian shoe cream. December 26, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Michael Fantastic shoe I had been wanting a dainite sole for those days with light rain. I went with the Fifth Avenue and I couldn't be more pleased. The fit is true to size, the dainite sole is very comfortable, and unlike other reviews I had read is not any stiffer than a good leather sole. I have worn them twice, and the creasing is what you would expect from a quality shoe; the sole is very durable. And the timeless style of the Fifth Ave goes well with suits or jeans. I have Fifth ave shoes already. Can I get them receafted with the dainite rubber sole now that you offer it for the fifth ave? If so what is the cost?
