Reviews
Heel and Sole Edge Dressing is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great but pricey. Product works great first restoring the edge of the sole. The black isn't necessarily any better than a low cost generic product but the colored ones (chilli/walnut) really make the shoe look like new again instead of just using the brown/black ones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked very well This product, in the Neutral color, worked very well at restoring the edges of my Higgins Mill boots, which had become scuffed and scratched after several months wear. It was easy to use and I had no problems applying it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great look with very easy application This product was extremely easy to apply. The Finish simply brushed onto the edge of the Soul, much like a magic marker. But the Finish is durable and attractive.

What dressing do you recommend for the Fifth Avenue in 5735 Walnut Calf

I've seen some conflicting information from previous Q&A's on the recommended dressing for the shoe noted above (both chili and neutral were recommended). The most recent answer from two months ago indicated neutral for most walnut strands; however, the answers from approximately four years ago indicate Chili. Could you please provide some clarification?
Asked by: Anonymous
We apologize for the confusion, ultimately any color may be used depending on the style and your desired results. Our previous Walnut finish was complemented by chili edges, so we recommended Chili dressing and/or Neutral which can be used virtually with any finish. The edges of our Walnut styles are actually quite unique with different variations of browns that may not be replicated as easily at home. So we recommend Neutral which will cover the scuffs without covering the colors. However, you could even use a combination of Brown, Neutral, and/or Chili if you have experience with shoe care and need to add some color back into the edges. We hope this is helpful. If you require further assistance with shoe care we recommend speaking with a customer service rep directly at 877-817-7615.

Do I have to cut the tip and at what angle?

Nothing is coming out right now
Asked by: Anonymous
DO NOT CUT ANYTHING. All I did was leave the cap on, per directions, shook it several times and pressed it against the heel of the shoe 3 or 4 times and the polish came out from the center of the applicator. If that does not happen, I would think that you may have a faulty applicator.
