Overview

This shoe is a closeout style, and is therefore limited to the sizes and widths that are currently available online.

Birthplace of the submarine and bordered to the west by the Menunketesuck River, the Patchogue River to the east and Long Island Sound to the south, Westbrook, Connecticut is a classic example of a New England port town that owes it existence to the water that surrounds it. The same could be said our Westbrook, Allen Edmonds' take on the classic American boat shoe. A two eyelet blucher design, this must-have shoe features prominent rawhide lacing and contrast stitching, both of which add a bit of flair to this time-tested design, making certain it will work with everything from khakis to shorts or denim. The distinct white Zanza boat sole not only balances the richness of the leather, but its multi-patterned traction system is ideally suited to make sure you don't lose your footing on a wet dock or boat deck. Overflowing with positive attributes, the Westbrook is the quintessential weekend shoe from sea to shining sea.

Reviews
Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 21 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Old Boat Shoes were Better The new boat shoes are much flimsier in comparison with the boat shoes I bought from AE a couple years ago. Those were durable shoes meant for a couple years of wear. These shoes have much less structure and I anticipate will lose their shine quickly. Also the laces were too long. Leather laces are hard to tie anyway. July 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn! These shoes have such wonderfully supple leather and feel so nice whenever I walk in them I put them on sometimes just to feel like I have puffy clouds under my feet. I received the shoes very quickly after I ordered them and they were kept very safe in the excellent packaging. Overall the shoes run one width large, true to length, and a tiny bit small. I would absolutely recommend these to any friend and would've paid much more for these amazing shoes. November 16, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Shoe Linear Unglued After 2 Uses I am extremely disappointed with this purchase. After wearing the shoe two times, the liner of my right shoe is now bunching up underneath my foot and is no longer properly glued down. No shoe linear should come unglued after two wears, let alone an almost $200 boat shoe. It makes question the overall quality of the shoe and wonder how long the other shoe will last. I own 6 pairs of dress shoes from AE and have used AE's re-crafting service, I expect much better quality. Finally, these shoes run slightly narrow compared to my other AE purchases. June 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Most Comfortable Shoe I Own These are the most amazing shoes and they only get better each and every time you wear them. A well made heavy casual shoe. Even though this is a boat shoe I wear my other shoes when they will be exposed to water as the leather on all boat shoes hardens after they have been soaked. I can't wait to purchase another pair in another color. Buy this shoe! July 11, 2013

Answer:
The Westbrook boat shoe is a closeout style, and is therefore limited to the sizes and widths that are currently available online. The size 10 EEE is sold out in the Brown Leather, however it is currently still available to order in the Black leather, while supplies last.

We recommend checking out the Maritime or the Eastport boat shoes as they are currently available in a size 10EEE in the brown leather.

Thank you for your interest in Allen Edmonds.

The Westbrook style is laced this way only for display purposes; the laces are not fixed and will be long enough to tie in a bow.

Thank you for your interest in Allen Edmonds.

Allen Edmonds shoes are manufactured in a variety of lasts, so fit will vary from other manufacturers. And while typically the same size and last can be ordered in all of our shoes, each style can fit differently based on individual foot shape. By selecting shoes manufactured on the last that most resembles the contours of one’s feet, customers will achieve a superior fit.

The best way to get a proper fit is to visit a master fitter in one of our retail stores. If this is not possible, keep in mind that products purchased on allenedmonds.com may be returned at any time, as long as the item is unused and accompanied by the packing slip. Trying the shoes on a carpeted surface will help prevent scuffing on the sole and keep the shoe in returnable condition.

The insole is glued to the bottom of the shoe. I suppose you might be able to remove it but as I said it is glued down.

The Westbrook style was not manufactured with an orthotic fit in mind. You can find the complete Allen Edmonds Orthotic Collection for all Allen Edmonds styles by clicking the following link here: http://www.allenedmonds.com/aeonlin...

Also available are the Allen Edmonds Replacement Orthotic Insoles, which are specifically designed for those select Allen Edmonds styles that feature removable orthotics. Keep in mind also, if the shoe is fit large enough, these inserts can be used in almost any of our shoes.

Answer:
The Westbrook is made in the USA of imported materials. The leather seems to be of much higher quality than other boat shoes offered by Allen Edmonds. Get a pair on your feet and see for yourself!

We do not recommend a traditional polish or shine on the Westbrook. This shoe’s leather can be cleaned using Allen Edmonds Conditioner/Cleaner to remove dirt and any residue. Then, using a soft cloth, apply Allen Edmonds Leather Lotion. Allow shoes to completely air dry. Buff waxed leathers gently with a cotton flannel cloth to bring out their shine.

Answer:
I use Allen Edmonds Cleaner/Conditioner on my Eastports which are very similar to the Westbrook.

I wouldn't put polish on these shoes as the leather finish is not really designed for a polish.
