Our belts are measured from the inside edge of the buckle to the center hole. Because of this, we recommend selecting a belt one full size larger than your waist size. For example, if the waist size on your slacks or pant size is a 36" we recommend ordering a 38" belt.

Good quality belt
This Allen Edmonds belt I purchased was decent quality. The leather felt smooth and had a nice thickness to it. It wasn’t super thick leather belt but it got the job done. The only comment I’d say about what I didn’t like it there wasn’t more holes on the belt.

As always excellent products
I have found years ago that the foundation of a solid wardrobe is exceptional shoes. I’ve owned nearly every brand, Allen Edmunds are the only choice for me. I recently purchased 5 new pair and have others that are 10 yrs or older and still like new. They are simply the best shoes in the world!

Extremely durable
I've worn this belt 6 days a week for eight years running. It's one of the best belts I've ever purchased, and aside from the chrome wearing off the buckle where I've hit it on my desk, the belt is as soft and supple as ever. I recommend using the Allen Edmonds leather conditioner and shoe polish. I've even washed it in soap and water. Still going strong. Great product.

Truly a very nice belt that is a pleasure to wear
I am very pleased with this belt. The color (walnut) and substantially handsome perforated style matches very well indeed with all my walnut and even brown perforated captoes even the ones not branded AE.
It is a pity this belt does not come in navy, I have several pair of perforated captoes in that color that I know would be complimented very nicely with this belt in navy but the AE navy Wide Basic Dress belt I own (see review) still does my navy captoes justice and draws compliments often enough that make me quite happy I purchased this belt.

My nephew is a 33 waist pant. No idea what size to order for Madison belt
Our belts are measured from the inside edge of the buckle to the center hole. Because of this, we recommend selecting a belt one full size larger than your waist size.
However, if the waist size on your slacks or pant is an odd size such as 33" we recommend ordering the next size such as a 34".

Is it possible to make this belt in a size 48 in four different colors I’m interested in purchasing my boots the same color as a belt.
I need a size 48 do you still manufacture this belt I’ve tried to purchase it the last two years and haven’t been successful are you going to manufacture that size again or there has been a change in policy please let me know so I can look other places

Which color of the Manistee belt is the closest match to mahogany? And is it close enough to consider a useful pairing with mahogany shoes?
The closest match would be Coffee. While not an exact match, it can be considered a coordinating color.

I have previous Allen Edmonds' belts that have interchangeable buckles. Is it possible for me to switch buckles on the Manistee dress belt?

This is the other shoe I’m purchasing but the color on the belt online doesn’t look the same eve though it says the color is walnut.

Can this be repaired/stitched?
Love this belt! But I have a section about 6" long, where I frequently wear a cell phone holster that has worn and the stitching is unraveling. Can this be repaired?
