    Size & Fit Guide

Our belts are measured from the inside edge of the buckle to the center hole. Because of this, we recommend selecting a belt one full size larger than your waist size. For example, if the waist size on your slacks or pant size is a 36" we recommend ordering a 38" belt.

Manufactured with five distinct belt holes, placed 1 inch apart from one another.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality price, for slightly more I'd go for another A. E. belt I just bought this belt in blue on a terrific sale, and I'm delighted to get this for that price. However, I should say that I don't intend to wear it as a dress belt, because while the blue is a nice sort-of-navy shade, trying to wear it with blue/black/grey slacks would, in my opinion, just emphasize the "Hey I'm Blue!' too much. And of course it wouldn't perfectly match navy slacks the the difference would make the attempt silly. Before I say why I bought this color, if not as a a dress belt, I want to suggest that if you want a real dress belt, spend the extra $20 and get one of the Manistee belts. A.E. has had them in many colors over the years, I have at least 4 of them, and they are terrific belts and they very much say "high end dress belt" in a subtle way. I bought this belt to wear with things like plaid shorts with blue in them as this coordinates well. Obviously I'm talking walking shorts, but they also go well with casual slacks like khakis that are any color but blue - they work great with any sort of tan slack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely size up I ordered a smaller size than my pants size, because they were sold out of my pants size. I definitely should have sized up or 2, even normally. I wear a 32 and I ordered a 30 belt. I had to punch an extra hole in the end to make it fit. Other than sizing (which is my fault for not reading about the sizing), it is a great belt.

Would this belt match with the Midnight Navy Cornwalis(Color 1283)? Thanks.

Note: The blue belt did not exactly match the blue Fifth Avenue shoes that was previously purchased. However, the two items do work well when both are worn together.

This belt will complement the shoes nicely. We recommend the Sterling Ave casual belt in Navy as well. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions.

I went ahead and bought the belt to match the blue Strandmok and I would concur that it does look good with them.
