Rated 5 out of 5 by Michael from Excellent quality and warmth without the wooly itches Received as a Christmas gift and have had several months of wear with a few washes. Heavy sweater - like a hefty area rug in weight. Very warm and well constructed (warn for weeks at a time with heavy use on forearm and elbows (desk jockey). No signs of wear, though heavy pilling which I expected. 10% cotton which has eliminated any probs with the normal itchiness of wool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by The Flâneur from Warm, Comfortable and a Great Value! I've now purchased this sweater in Navy, Moss and Burgundy. The sweater is made by Schott NYC, a 4th-generation family-owned American business. Can't say enough about the quality of knit and the fit is excellent. I would definitely recommend without reservation.

Rated 3 out of 5 by GHI from Nice thick sweater, odd sizing parameters, Schott NYC but made in China The overall knit and quality of the sweater is thick and relatively nice - although am confused as to why they wouldn't have gone w/ 100% wool. The general fit of the sweater is a bit odd - that is, very long sleeves - somewhere along the lines of 35-36" (I typically require size M, 40-41" chest, 33" length sleeve, 16.5" neck for reference, height 5'9") and a very long torso (the band at the bottom sits well below pants pockets). I am always disappointed when I see brands like Allen Edmonds and Schott NYC shift production overseas.
