Awful in every way
I wear a 39/40 sport coat and ordered both a 40 and 42 (online) just in case the 40 didn't fit (per other reviews saying the sizing ran small). Not only doesn't the 40 fit, neither does the 42. Tight in the arm pits and chest and the sleeves are far too short.
And not only that, there are blemishes all over the fabric: back, front and sleeves. Different ones in each case. One looks like an oil drip and the others like run-of-the-mill dirt spots.
Run, don't walk, away from this product. I, for one, don't have time to deal with this.

Sizes run extremely small
I'm a 42R in sport coats and suits. Ordered 42R and looked more like a 38S. I'm going to try a 44. Coat is beautiful and seems to be of quality material. Lining is top notch. I spoke to Heather in Customer Service. Very helpful with Return, even sent a prepaid label. Only complaint is AE should investigate the sizing issue and let CS associates know about it. I'd give 5 Stars for the jacket and CS experience, but only 1 Star for whoever is in charge of labeling. Jacket and CS can be wonderful but if you can't wear the jacket? Overall 3 Stars.

Way too tight
This coat was labeled a 44R, which is what I ordered, but fit more like a 41 or 42R. Made for a very skinny person.
