I am impressed
I purchased the coffee colored ones and love them so far. Reading other reviews I was nervous that they would not fit. These actually fit me great! For factory seconds they had a stitching issue and a superficial scratch that was easily taken care off. For the price I paid I am very satisfied. These can be dressed down with jeans.

Exceptionally comfortable, attractive loafer
I bought my first pair of McGraw loafers about 13 years ago. They are my favorite shoes. Comfortable, good looking and very adaptable to both dress and casual wear. Glad to find them available again via the Factory Seconds program. Frankly, the quality looked like firsts. Very nice.

What is Factory 2nd?
It takes 212 unique steps and 100 pairs of hands to make an Allen Edmonds shoe. When you add in our great attention to detail and the high quality-control standards we maintain, the result is a Factory Second. These blemished shoes have cosmetic defects such as a stain, nick in the sole or slightly askew sewing. Though they last as long as our other shoes and are recraftable, they don't make the grade as an Allen Edmonds "First Quality" shoe.
