    Classic Fit

Most people consider a “classic” fit to be a “standard” fit. This fit more closely aligns with the natural shape of your feet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rubber sole coming apart I have had these shoes since 4/29 and have wore them 7 times. Rubber heal has already come unglued. Will be returning them to the store for a refund or replacement.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from VERY COMFORTABLE Not as much stylish detail as the Strand Cap-toe Oxford but they're just as comfortable!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Limited Width Size is a fatal decision by AE And so begins the decline of AE under its new management. This shoe looks beautiful, but since the new guys decided to save some $$ by not making an E width (as my other closetful of AE shoes), I had to try the EEE, which was way too wide for me. And this is on one of their made in WI, top price $425 shoes. You know that if they're cutting corners on such a visible aspect of the shoe, they must also be cutting back on the things that you can't see. I suspect these won't last forever like my old Strand's and Fifth Avenues. You'd be better off raising prices instead of cutting corners.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shoe. The new Leiden. Great shoe. Comfortable, very stylish, great quality. I have coffee and walnut and wear them to work. Can also be worn with jeans. Please note, I find all AE run 1/2 size smaller (US) than all other brands. These are very similar to the Leiden, which is not sold any longer. So if you liked the Leiden, check these out. The Leiden has a slightly square toe, Greene Street is more rounded, but still has the modern silhouette. The rounded toe is part of AE's new rediscover America campaign where they are staying true to American styling. Great balance of modern silhouette and American styling.

What last was used on the 3704?

A 3704 in 9.5 EEE was a perfect fit for me. I want to order but am unable to get in for a personal fitting soon.

What is the 64 last? I am 10 1/2 B, with narrow heel, flat feet, low arch, wider in toebox. What would be the best last for me?

I have bought 25 pairs of Allen Edmonds over the last 30 years, and I still need to find a pair that really fits. I wanted to buy Leiden, but they seem to be discontinued. I ordered some McGregors
    Asked by: Donald
These are very similar to the Leiden which were a favorite of mine. The differences that I see are asthetic: rounded toe and brogued heel strip. FIt seems to be very similar or same.
