STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and apply to the edge of the heel and sole.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish in between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

Cody Tassel Loafer is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 212.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Style, materials, construction and fit are over the top ! I loved this shoe right out of the box. No break-in, no stress. Can not believe the high quality of the leathers and the presentation/style of this shoe. Same class as Park Ave. model.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The most uncomfortable shoe I have ever worn. This shoe looks Beautiful however it is the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever worn. I tried them on at home and they felt snug but wearable wore them to dinner and my foot was very sore by the time we got home. I figured they might just need some stretching and put shoe trees in them and tried them one more time and when I took them off the top of my foot was blistered and bleeding . I tried returning them and Allen Edmonds told me that their return policy is 90 days in-worn. I have 6 other pairs of AE shoes and had never had a problem. Tre design on these is awful and their addressing of my issue is as well. When I tried to return them in the store, the salesman told me they don’t carry this model because it has been a problem shoe fir them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very pleased with the workmanship and quality of material I have another pair of Allen Edmonds that are 25 years old. They are a pair of wing tip loafers and are still used by me 2 to 3 times a week.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from rubbing my heel I started with a size 11 and I returned them with no problem. I got the size 10 1/2 and wore them twice and the rubbed my heel till twice I got blisters. I mostly buy tie shoes due to the fit.

Will these be available in size 8 in chili any time soon?

    Asked by: Dave

    Sizing no bigger than 11.5?

I wear 12 D across the board in AE shoes and I am wondering if the 11.5 (biggest size the Cody comes in) would be worth buying. My local AE does not carry this shoe so I have no way of trying it before hand. I would really appreciate some advice.
    Asked by: Horace
Typically, we recommend trying the same size you usually wear and judging the fit based on how comfortable you feel in the shoes. Also, keep in mind that products purchased on AllenEdmonds.com may be returned within 90 days, as long as the item is unworn and accompanied by the packing slip (we advise trying the shoes on a carpeted surface to keep them in returnable condition).

Is Cody comfortable with no socks?

    Asked by: Rock1954
I wouldn’t wear them with no socks. Not my style of shoe for “no socks” and they would really need to be broken in.

    Another sizing question

I understand the best method is to try a new last in store however I'm limited on time. I've heard this last runs long so I'm thinking about a 10 D or 10 E based on the other lasts that I own from Allen Edmonds. Please advise. My sizing in other AE lasts: 65 last - 10.5 E 201 last - 11 D 1943 last - 11 E 97 last - 10 E

are these available with rubber soles

    Asked by: Anonymous
I do not believe they are. The 5th Ave Cap-toe is however, and I wish I had purchased them instead of the leather-soled version.

Are the Cody tassel loafers considered a summer shoe ?

    Asked by: Anonymous
Absolutely they're a summer shoe. But in my opinion, and I'm no fashionista, the Cody is fine whenever its dry. I sure wouldn't wear a mesh shoe when its raining or there is snow on the ground.

    Help with sizing

I have several pairs of AE and seem to be a true 9.5D, many of the reviews for this style talk about hurting the top of the foot and go with wider and some say one size longer, what is the direction from AE?
    Asked by: Sundance
I have 2 pairs of Cody’s and both are true to size, length and width.

I assume they're tight over your instep. Its a common complaint about the Cody. Its my only complaint. They can probably be stretched by your local AE dealer.

I wear 11.5 narrow in Cole Hahn! Would I order the same size in Allen Edmonds

    Asked by: Anonymous
The smart approach to your question is to go into an Allen Edmond store or a store that carry the AE line of shoes and try the shoes on for fit. Shoe contraction tend to differ from manufacturer to manufacturer. Also when buying Allen Edmond shoes you would want the prefect fit for comfort and peace of mind.
