STEP 2: Moisturize the shoes with our Cream Polish to make them supple and soft, following instructions on the product.

STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and apply to the edge of the heel and sole.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish in between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

*For camo printed leather, simply rub our Leather Lotion onto print with our Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp cloth.

Cornwallis Dress Oxford is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 262.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fit is too small. I have many pairs of AE dress shoes. They are all the same size, and all fit comfortably. This one was painfully smaller. I had my doubts about this particular pair after the box it arrived in was held together by tape and one of the shoes was folded onto itself creating a crease in the leather. It appeared to me that this pair had been rejected by another customer. This is not what I expect from this company. Very disappointing

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shoe and great color My Strands are great, but the Cornwallis is narrower in the toe box. I wish it was wider in the toe, but by the end of the day my toes are squeezed a little. Looking to buy Wingtips next.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice looking shoe, but it squeaks when I walk. This is the sixth pair of Allen Edmonds' shoes for me. This is the first pair that I have not been extremely pleased with. The shoe fits well, as do all the shoes I have by Allen Edmonds. The problem is the shoe squeaks when I walk. This is the only pair of shoes that squeaks. I'm sure there is a reason it squeaks, but I'm not interested in the reason. I just want a good looking pair of shoes that I'm not embarrassed to wear. You may want to skip this shoe. They have many good ones that don't squeak.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An absolutely Beautiful shoe! The Cornwallis is a remarkable, classy style which lends itself beautifully for casual and formal wearing. I’m now wearing my fourth pair of the Cornwallis dress oxford (walnut). I wear them as my casual go-to shoe, usually wearing them with jeans. They are remarkably comfortable and are sized beautifully. I have a wide foot; the EEE width is perfect! I’ve lost track of the many, many compliments I received about the shoe. Many people who have given me compliments easily recognize the AE shoe. I’ve had two pairs recrafted twice; that is clear testimony of how well the shoe is built!

Why don't you make this shoe in "C" widths? I have previously tried this shoe in a "B" width (size 9) and it was just a little too tight on my foot.

I have a pair of AEs that I bought 30 years ago, and they are beginning to wear out (I didn't take good care of them the first few years I had them). Are the lasts different now than 30 years ago, or would the new ones need to be stretched out?
    Asked by: RPM53
We're sorry that this style is not made in a C width. If the B is too snug, we suggest trying the D width. Alternately, we do offer other select styles in the C width. You can find them here: https://www.allenedmonds.com/shoes/?prefn1=size&prefn2=width&prefv1=9&prefv2=C Regarding the lasts, in the past few decades there are lasts that have been discontinued, new ones have been added, and others that are still offered. If you know the last on your shoes, you can filter by last on our website to see if we have other styles offered in that last. If you require assistance selecting a style, please feel free to call us at 877-817-7615. We'd be happy to help!

What size should I order for the Cornwallis if i am a 10.5 EEE in the Park and 5th Ave? Will they fit the same?

    Asked by: Djw
Hi Daniel! Each style can fit differently based on the contours of your feet, so it’s difficult to recommend a size via Bazaarvoice and guarantee a proper fit. Typically, we recommend trying the same size you usually wear and judging the fit based on how comfortable you feel in the shoes. If possible, we’d love to have you visit an Allen Edmonds retail store or one of our retail partners for a professional fitting. Our associates are trained to help you find the right fit for the various lasts and styles we offer.

How do i care for my Chili Cornwallis?

Hi, I purchased the Chili Cornwallis Oxford and have reviewed the recommended care and the related video on the site however, they seem to recommend a few products. My goal is to keep the shoes looking as great as possible, maximize the health, and remove the daily scuffs. Can you please advise which product(s) to use to care for them? Thanks!
    Asked by: Chris
We recommend following the instructions on our 'Caring for Calfskin' video. The shoe care products we recommend for calfskin dress styles are Leather Lotion, Dark Chili Premium Shoe Polish, a soft cloth, a horsehair shine brush, Chili Heel & Sole Edge Dressing, and full-toe cedar shoe trees. https://www.allenedmonds.com/discover/shoes-101/shoe-care.html Feel free to contact us with any additional questions.

Which heel and edge dressing are recommended for the Cornwallis line of shoes?

    Asked by: Anonymous
We recommend applying the color that matches the color of the sole edge. The Black and Navy Cornwallis have a black edge, so we recommend the black dressing. The Brown Cornwallis has brown edge, so we recommend the brown dressing. For the Dark Chili Cornwallis would be the chili dressing. Finally, the Walnut Cornwallis has a light brown edge so you can use the neutral dressing. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions.
