    Care Instructions

STEP 1: Using a damp cloth or sponge, lather our Saddle Soap and apply onto leather to clean and restore its natural oils.

STEP 2: Moisturize the shoes with our Cream Polish to make them supple and soft, following instructions on the product.

STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and apply to the edge of the heel and sole.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish in between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

*For camo printed leather, simply rub our Leather Lotion onto print with our Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp cloth.

    Relaxed Fit

The relaxed fit has added space in the toe box. This extra room allows for thicker socks and foot expansion that occurs at the end of the day or during a long flight.

    Ask & Answer
Alpine Lace-to-Toe Boot with Vibram Arctic Grip Rubber Sole is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Control My wife bought men’s pair of these for Christmas. Knowing I wouldn’t buy myself a pair of boots this expensive, she thought she finally found a present to surprise me with. Unfortunately, the surprise was a total lack of quality. Whoever’s job it was to glue the liner in, left a large amount of material wadded up on the side of the boot causing a visible crease in the outer leather. The really sad part is, these are touted as made is the USA by hand. That means whatever supposed craftsman built these looked at the glaring mistake and still decided to sell them. This speaks volumes about a problem with a company’s culture. Allen Edmonds is either not paying their craftsman enough to take pride in their work and do it right; or they’re not training and empowering them to put quality first. This was my going to be my second pair of Allen Edmonds shoes. I waited for years to be in a place where I finally had the means to own a pair. The idea of wearing a hand made shoe they was completely “recraftable” seemed solid enough justification for buying a boot that would last for years and years. Sadly, they appear to have forgotten their “craft” right out of the gate on this one. Come Allen Edmonds, read your reviews and throw a few extra stitches in the loop so people stop ripping them when putting them on. Empower your craftsman to take pride in what it they do and stop slinging out subpar work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Typical Quality and Style These are very comfortable, getting more so with each wear as they break in. Ordered my standard 9.5 size that is the same for my other pairs of AE boots and shoes and they’re perfect. I consistently get compliments on my AE boots and shoes from coworkers and occasionally strangers, and with no branding on them, surprising that others appreciate the look of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Winter Boots The Alpine Lace to Toe's are very comfortable right out the box! They felt broken in from the minute I put them on. The leather is soft, but durable. I'm very hard on my shoes, so I'll have to see if they hold up over time. For now though, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The bootstrap is "decorative only" I wanted to like the boot, but when trying the boot on for the first time the bootstrap popped in my hand, ripping off at the seam like a lottery ticket. A winter boot with a fake bootstrap is idiotic. And of course, they blamed me for it. Aside from the above incident, I had in my hands three pairs of these boots and the quality control was all over the place. The storm welts were folded over on some, there were visible dents in the leather just below the tongue from whatever tools they used when fashioning it, and one boot must have been fashioned with the leather from a 100-year-old wrinkled heiffer. Between them all, I could have made one pair of boots worth the price. The boots themselves are nice, FWIW. The soles are well done, the leather itself is quality, and the fit was great (once I found the correct size).

    Are these boots waterproof?

Given that the sole of this boot is engineered to perform on wet ice, is it ok to wear these boots in snow and are they waterproof?
    Asked by: Anonymous
Thank you for shopping with Allen Edmonds! These boots are weatherproof and are engineered to perform well in snow and ice. After-use cleaning and care is required to keep the boots in good condition.

What is the material inside the boot? Is it just soft leather or a anti sweat material?

    Asked by: VZ
The inside is soft leather, superior to anti-sweat material which wears out quicker.
