STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and apply to the edge of the heel and sole.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish in between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

*For camo printed leather, simply rub our Leather Lotion onto print with our Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp cloth.

    Relaxed Fit

Most people consider a “classic” fit to be a “standard” fit. This fit more closely aligns with the natural shape of your feet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value, great shoe. Quality made, quality shoe. Snatched it on sale and am completely satisfied with the shoe.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lightweight and comfortable sole. I would recommend a size larger due to a smaller than usual upper so my fit is tight.

Does this shoe have a similar fit as the Wilbert Comfort shoe?

I bought a pair of Wilberts and I had to exchange them for a narrower width then I normally wear (D width instead of an E width)
    Asked by: Michael
Each style can fit differently based on the contours of your feet, so it’s difficult to recommend a size via email and guarantee a proper fit. Typically, we recommend trying the same size you usually wear and judging the fit based on how comfortable you feel in the shoes. If possible, we’d love to have you visit an Allen Edmonds retail store or one of our retail partners for a professional fitting. Our associates are trained to help you find the right fit for the various lasts and styles we offer. We hope this helps.

What does eee,ee mean with in width?

    Asked by: Nicolas

Typically, my best AE fit is 10.5 E. I see that is not offered with the Tate. Between the D and EEE, which would be more likely to be the better fit

    Asked by: RDHawk
From my experience with AE shoes the D will probably be the better fit.

How does the fit compare with Badlands?

    Asked by: Anonymous
The Tate wingtip is constructed over the 42 Last and the Badlands is made on the 65 Last. The 42 Last combines the excellent fitting heel characteristics of the 65 last with a broad, almond shaped modern toe shape. This last is generous fitting from the ball through the toe area. This last has a sleek profile through the arch and instep. Are the Tate Collection made in the US? What is the warranty on the shoes?

    Asked by: Anonymous
Handcrafted in U.S. I know nothing about warranty. However, the primary reason I buy Allen Edmonds is that after years of hard use, I ship them back to get the shoes refurbished. It's not cheap, but it's arguably better than getting a new pair of shoes!
