Well pleased with results
Found this polish on sale, so I bought several colors and tubes. So far it has exceeded my expectations for a wax polish and the colors match my AE shoes just fine. Recommended.

Perfect Oxblood color match, easy to use applicator
I purchased a tube of this in the Oxblood color.
Pros
+ The Oxblood color match is perfect.
+ The cream is easy to apply and distribute.
+ It polishes to a nice dull shine that I prefer over a mirror gloss.
+ No mess!
Cons
– I'm worried the sponge applicator tip will start to deteriorate over time.
– I'm not sure how it compares to the quality of Saphir products.

Best polish for AE shoes hands down
I have tried other highly mentioned polishes but this polish has been the best on my AE's. I'm being totally honest and not trying to earn anything here. Everything about the polish is better (smell, richness of color, needed quantity to accomplish the job, the customer service, delivery time, and cost.

I think I need the chestnut polish for my AE driving loafers -- numbers are 50430 and 61940. what do you have?

Is prep needed (Lotion or conditioner) before using this polish? Is this a wax polish? Is it recommended to buff after polish with a brush?
You may use Leather Lotion to prepare the leather for polishing. This product is a combination of our Cream Polish and Carnauba Wax. You can use a horsehair shine brush or a polishing cloth to buff the leather to a shine; it depends on your personal preference.

Just got the Surrey Cap-Toe Boot in tan weather proof. Should I use shoe cream or polish? And, what color? The tan is more “tan” than my walnut Fifth Avenues.

what polish for tan nashua tassel loafer
Walnut. Use it on cognac, bourbon, and most of the lighter colors. You always want to select a polish that is lighter in color than the shoe that you are applying it to, unless you want to change the color.
