    Care Instructions

STEP 1: Using a damp cloth or sponge, lather our Saddle Soap and apply onto leather to clean and restore its natural oils.

STEP 2: Moisturize the shoes with our Cream Polish to make them supple and soft, following instructions on the product.

STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and apply to the edge of the heel and sole.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish in between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

*For camo printed leather, simply rub our Leather Lotion onto print with our Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp cloth.

    Relaxed Fit

Most people consider a “classic” fit to be a “standard” fit. This fit more closely aligns with the natural shape of your feet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! I’m very pleased with the excellent quality, fit, looks and price of the boots. I highly recommend them and all products from Allen Edmonds.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed Really disappointed in receiving these boots. Boots color were lighter than the picture online. Boots had scratches or marks on them and stitching didn’t meet my expectations. Maybe I received a second factory but overall was not satisfied and because of that, I am returning them. I would not recommend these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great boot at a good price I normally run size 9 width D and I got the boot to be more snug at a 8.5D. It fits well and is true to size. The laces are a bit short and recommend the longer laces with it. The only down side is the cap toe seems larger than normal than most cap toe boots.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from All about expectations... I love these boots for a handful of reasons: - The leather is seriously amazing. The color is absolutely gorgeous and I'm blown away by how well they've broken in already. 11/10 - The wool lining is substantial enough to make them warm, but not so thick as to turn them into foot-saunas - The fit is great, with enough room for thick winter socks. I ordered the same size as my 5th Avenues (65 Last) - The sole is pretty soft, and the boots are overall really comfortable. That said, I'd be hesitant to recommend them to a friend. Here's why: - These are made in the D.R., and you can tell. The finishing and detailing are nowhere near the level of my 5th Aves and look sloppy by comparison. The most noticeable imperfections are slightly uneven stitching and wonky sole trimming that makes them seem sort of cockeyed when looking head on. They're not made poorly by any means, just not beautifully. - I ordered two pairs to make sure I got the right size. One of the pairs was made with two different shades of leather so the upper didn't match the rest of the boot. The pair I kept looked good, though. Despite the shortcomings, I really like these boots. The leather is fantastic and they're made well, even if they don't look the sharpest. This doesn't really bother me because I bought these to get me through rocky mountain winters not to win beauty competitions. Not a good value at full price, but worth it for me at the sale price. Overall, good boots, just know what you're getting into and maybe order a few pairs in your size to make sure the leather matches.

What is the lining on these boots? It looks like felt or wool but no where in the details section does it say.

    Asked by: CJ
I'm not sure. It's fuzzy but doesn't feel like wool.

Does this boot have a shearling-wool lining?

In previous questions from about a year ago, there was mention of a shearling-wool liner. Is this liner still offered or has that lining since been discontinued?
    Asked by: Tim
Thank you for your interest in our footwear! The current lining of the Vancouver boot that we offer is not shearling wool. We're sorry for any disappointment this may cause.

I wear a size 10D in the 65 Last, what size should I choose?

I wear a size 10D in the Allen Edmonds 65 Last, what size should I choose for this boot? I prefer a snug fit.
    Asked by: Anonymous
Each style can fit differently based on the contours of your feet, so it’s difficult to recommend a size via email and guarantee a proper fit. Typically, we recommend trying the same size you usually wear and judging the fit based on how comfortable you feel in the shoes. If possible, we’d love to have you visit an Allen Edmonds retail store or one of our retail partners for a professional fitting. Our associates are trained to help you find the right fit for the various lasts and styles we offer. Also, keep in mind that most products purchased on may be returned within 90 days. Sizing w/socks

Would you recommend going up a half size due to thicker winter socks? Or stay with normal AE sizing?
    Asked by: cg19
I ordered the brown color way with the thinner wool lining rather than the fur of the other color way, i would recommend normal AE sizing as there is enough room in the boot to accommodate for thicker socks.

Fit for Natural color version with felt lining

Many have reported a narrower fit for the brown color shearling lined version, but does the Natural colored felt lined version of the Vancouver Boot also fit narrower due to the felt lining? For size reference, my only AE is a 7.5 EEE Dalton on the 511 last. Note: I cannot go to a retail store or retail partner.
    Asked by: Sean
I purchased the natural version with felt lining and I sized up one half size in length and one letter in width, going from a 9 C, to a 9.5 D. It fits very well this way. I would not hesitate to buy a size 8 EEE if I were you. If this doesnt fit right, at least you can return it for a full refund, unlike factory seconds which have a $25 restock fee.
