Overall quality briefcase
The briefcase is top quality. Only complaint is the buckle. Difficult and cumbersome to close. Would have preferred a “faux” buckle with snap to close.

Well made, but too small.
I really liked this briefcase based on looks and construction, but unfortunately it was way too small. It was too small to hold my laptop - and even with a smaller laptop there would be no room for anything else. I needed a bag for travel with my laptop and this was not that. I’ve returned this item and will look for a bigger option.

Great bag
This bag is great. I was between this and some of the slimmer bags from AE but am glad I went with this. I was afraid it would be bulky but it is definitely slim in its profile. Its a great bag that looks very professional. I am 100% glad I went with this bag.

Excellent and beautiful bag
Have been searching for a "bomber jacket' briefcase for several years, and although this one is not marketed as bomber jacket, it sure does have that feel and look. Goes perfectly with my other bomber jacket items. Appears well made, stitching secure, nice catch, etc. My only complaint is that it doesn't yet "look used." Everyone knows that a briefcase just begins to look really great after it's been used for a few years, and this one looks new! I guess I'll have to use it a lot!

Is this stitched or glued?
For long time durability I was asked to ask if this was a stitched item, or is it glued?
The American Grain Collection Slim Briefcase is stitched and there are some components that are both stitched and cemented for reinforcement.

Does this open with a quick release clasp or a buckle that you have to undo?
The dark brown color pictures looks like it has a clasp to open quickly instead of undoing the buckle, but the black and walnut colors look like they only have a buckle that you will have to undo. Are there different models of the same briefcase?
