    Size & Fit Guide

Our belts are measured from the inside edge of the buckle to the center hole. Because of this, we recommend selecting a belt one full size larger than your waist size. For example, if the waist size on your slacks or pant size is a 36" we recommend ordering a 38" belt.

Manufactured with five distinct belt holes, placed 1 inch apart from one another

Sterling Ave Belt is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the usual quality of Allen Edmonds The leather in this belt is not the usual quality of other products that I have purchased in the past. It has a vinyl look and feel, but the sizing is accurate. I would not purchase this belt again and this is the first Allen Edmonds product that has disappointed me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice to own a new style when it comes out Was given to me by my sibling for my birthday. Is a versatile belt that can be worn with denim and dressed up. I love it and am very happy to have added this belt to my collection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT FOR DRESS / CASUAL DRESS - YOU'LL LIKE THIS ONE ! This black belt is excellent in quality. I love the comfort fit. The upper and lower stitching creates a beautiful look for both Dress and Casual Dress. I enjoy wearing it with my blue jeans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very sturdy and reliable. In the past I have had problems buying belt from big department stores. The hole I would use would get stretched out and quickly the belt would be hideous or ruined. Allen Edmonds belts are stylish, made with great materials, and made domestically.

Does the Sterling Belt in brown match the Chelsea Tate boots in brown

    Asked by: Doug
The Sterling Ave belt is a casual belt and the Tate Chelsea is considered to be a dress boot, so the styling is different. We recommend a dress belt for this style such as the Wide Basic Dress Belt or the Manistee Dress Belt. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions.

    recommended belt size

I typically wear 35" waist and depending on the brand and tailoring anywhere between 34-36". I ordered a 36" belt and it is comfortable on the last 2 holes, assuming a 38" belt would be comfortable on the first 2 holes. Will this particular style belt/leather stretch or would you recommend exchanging for the next size up?
