Living in Bellevue, Washington, or any other Pacific Northwest city, life can be just as unpredictable as the region's notoriously wet weather. To make sure you are prepared for whatever comes your way we designed this three-eyelet boot to be your universal footwear. The chukka boot design, complete with a split-reverse welt and Othello rubber outsole, is sturdy and rugged so that it can handle the elements as they roll in off the ocean. If you need to dress it up, the perfing and pinking lends this style a cosmopolitan touch without being pretentious. Finally, the leather lining and leather-wrapped comfort insole will have you feel like you are walking on clouds even if Mother Nature surprises you with a sunny day.

Product Care

Allen Edmonds Shoe Care

When caring for your calfskin, use Allen Edmonds Leather Lotion to remove surface residue and to keep leather soft and pliable. To achieve a fine luster, wipe shoes with a damp cloth and allow them to air dry at room temperature. Then, apply a coat of Allen Edmonds Premium Shoe Polish with a cloth or horsehair dauber and allow to air dry.

Bellevue Chukka Boots is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would Wear All the Time ...if I could. Unusually comfortable right out of the box and ever after. True, because of the nature of the leather, they "crease" across the toe, but I like that look and think chukkas are supposed to look that way anyhow. Probably shouldn't wear them with a tuxedo, har! har! Can't say anything negative about them, other than to mention that for some reason the laces are incredibly thin--but they're working so far.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Odd stitching pokes foot I've worn these 4 or 5 times and they have developed an odd stitch where the tongue meets the sidewall. this stitch, on the outside of both shoes, pokes me in the foot like a needle. I could cut it, but it has a sealed end and I'm concerned that cutting the end will result in a failure. I'll be returning to the AE store where purchased for their advice. If they can 'fix' them I'll be all set. It is a beautiful boot and as the shoe trees have done their work to stretch the toes, was on its way to being more comfortable with each wear until the stitch/poking issue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Allen Edmunds Quality Had these boots less than 2 weeks and one of the shoe strings already broke!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great color, very comfortable I ordered a pair of these boots recently in the golden brown chromexcel leather. The color of these boots is absolutely beautiful, and they make a very comfortable boot for casual wear. The lining in the shaft is very soft and adds to to the overall comfort of this product. In addition, the rubber sole is soft enough that it doesn't feel like I am walking on bricks all day. A quick note I would like to make about the chromexcel leather used in this boot is that it will scuff easily and form wrinkles. This is just an attribute of the leather that does not in any way detract from the beauty of the boot. One boot developed a crease just below the laces merely from putting my foot into it, and the same boot also developed wrinkles in an area that naturally creases after one wearing. However, with additional wears, these are becoming much less noticeable.

Ask & Answer

Can I put custom orthotics in these boots?

Asked by: Anonymous
You could if that's what you want, but it is important to keep in mind that the use of an orthotic will alter the way a shoe fits; we recommend trying on your orthotics with the shoes or visiting one of our master fitters at our retail stores as they can recommend the best possible fit for you with the orthotics. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions.
