STEP 2: Moisturize the shoes with our Cream Polish to make them supple and soft, following instructions on the product.

STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and apply to the edge of the heel and sole.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish in between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

*For camo printed leather, simply rub our Leather Lotion onto print with our Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp cloth.

MacKenzie Dress Oxford is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 36.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Shoe for the Sale Price Good looking shoe of good quality. Comfortable after a few wears to brake them in. Not sure if they are worth full retail, but for the sale price of $167, they are a fantastic shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No seams! More important than no seams outside of the shoe is that there are no seams on the inside of the shoe that can press against sensitive areas of the foot. These are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever purchased. I purchased the coffee color but I have never seen "coffee" colored shoe polish so finding that is my next challenge.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing value for a beautiful wholecut Goodyear welted oxford I purchased the MacKenzie in both Coffee and Walnut. The Walnut shoe arrived with the old Allen Edmonds branding while the Coffee had the new branding. The difference in quality between the old in new was surprisingly noticeable. Both are size 9.5D and were ordered at the same time. Walnut shoe with older branding: -Deeper groove/channel on the sole for the Goodyear welt stitch so that it is protected from early wear -Has the signature "Allen Edmonds" name window on the inside of the lateral wall of the shoe -Thoughtfully aligned nails to attach the heel -Leather better adapted along the vamp with no puckering around the throat of the shoe by the eyelets -The facing of the shoe approximated when laced (no v-gap) Coffee shoe with new branding: -Shallow Goodyear welt stitch channel; the stitches have already worn through in places after only a few wears -No "Allen Edmonds" name window (which has been on every AE shoe for as long as I can remember) -Sloppy nail placement on the heel -Leather puckers at the throat and does not lay well at the vamp -There is a v-gap when laced; the leather from the facing does not come together -The lace snapped after a week of wear (I have 5 year old AEs with original laces still intact) That being said, both shoes are a great value for a wholecut oxford. It could just be a coincidence that the shoe with the old branding happened to have better craftsmanship than the newer branded shoe as they were probably manufactured at almost the same time. That being said, the decline in quality control and obvious cost cutting measures are evident.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice dress shoe Great sale price, mine are somewhat damaged, irregular, but for the price, I will keep them. The fit is classic, I'm 9 D with slightly narrow heel, and they fit well. Overall, I would recommend, and if not damaged, I would highly recommend.

    Sizing Question

If I wear a 9.5D on the 65 last, what size would work here? It seems like these shows run big, so should I go a full size or half size down from my 65 last size?
    Asked by: Brandon
They run a little big but not enough to drop a full half size so I would stick with the 9.5 D.

    Heel makeup

I tried this model in the store. It had a leather stack heel with rubber insert. AE shows an all rubber top lift. Which one will it be going forward?

This style features the dovetail heel you saw at the store. We apologize for the sole picture error, it will be updated soon. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions.

    2531 last

I may keep missing it in the Last descriptor on site, but what is the basics of the 2531 last? I have a whole cut pair from the 333 last which has an elegant elongated toe. This looks more blunt in the pictures. Thanks,
    Asked by: Mick73
The 2531 last was created specifically with the streamlined and sophisticated look of our wholecut collection in mind. When using a single piece vamp the cone must be perfectly angled to accentuate the beauty of the upper without causing disruptions or puckering. The toe has a soft round and elongated look. The purpose of wholecut is not to be trendy but timeless and sophisticated. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions.
