I purchased this brief case for my husband for Christmas and he used it for 5 days and the shoulder strap completely snapped.

Quality and design, but poor form
I've had the bag for a month. Its aesthetic is great and the quality seems high. However, the bag has poor structure. Most notably, opening and closing the top compartment is poorly designed, especially if the bag is close to full. For the price point, I expect better.

Great quality but design could be improved
The bag is beautiful and of very high quality, but for practicality/functionality reasons I would be hesitant to recommend it to a friend. When you place the bag down, it immediately tips over on its front, so you must place it against something (e.g., desk at work) to avoid this. If a sturdy inner plastic strip were built into the bottom of the bag, this would likely be avoided and would make the bag easier to work with. Also, the bag is very front heavy (which is why it always falls that way) because of the front flaps (with the added weight of the leather and the metal clips). All of this is what makes the bag beautiful, so not something I would want changed; just not sure if there is a design feature that could better counterbalance the weight. Similarly, the leather handle flops around because of the weight of the leather. Perhaps if it was 1/2" or so shorter, it would minimize the flopping.
All in all, I am happy with the bag and, again, absolutely love the look and the quality. My concerns are simply functional/practical because of how I often I use my bag and how I use it.
