  • Care

We believe a great pair of shoes or boots is always a solid long-term investment. To keep your favorite footwear in top form for years or even decades to comes, use our 4 Step Shoe Care Process and these essential products.

    1. Clean

Start by applying Saddle Soap with a Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth to remove stains and dirt from the uppers and bring up the leather's natural oils.

    2. Polish

Next, use a Horsehair Dauber to treat your footwear with Cream Polish which renews the color and luster of leather. Any time you want to achieve a truly glossy, high shine, you should instead apply Carnauba Wax Polish.

    3. Dress

Restore the color and surface of the leather on the heels and soles using Heel Dressing.

    4. Protect

Leather Lotion keeps uppers soft, supple and hydrated while a Horsehair Shine Brush is perfect for buffing your shoes to the desired shine. As a last step, spray on Water Protector to guard against harmful moisture and spills and use a Leather Dopp Kit to keep all your care products organized.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this shoe. Eastport Tan size 9 EEE. How can I get a pair or 2? How can I get a pair of Eastport Shoes 9 EEE or equivalent as I have worn them for over 10 Years! Bob...wide and comfortable...socks or commando!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Too small I was disappointed that those shoes are not even close to fitting my feet, I couldn’t even get my foot halfway into them although I always buy Allenedmonds 7.5 EEE. I had to return them. The next size up was not available in wide. I really needed those casual shoes but now I have to look somewhere else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Boat Shoe—DON’T DISCONTINUE It’s a great boat shoe, if you can’t make money on it at the price you sell it for...charge a little more but DONT DISCONTINUE IT, you will lose a great following and you will never sell enough of the new ones that offer no sole support or great leather or padding...just my opinion, I have owned 3-4 pairs throughout the years and would gladly buy more.

Are the Eastport Boat Shoes recraftable?
    Asked by: Stekel
The Eastport style is discontinued and it's currently eligible for Recrafting. However, it may be disqualified from this service in the future because sole inventory is depleting. We recommend contacting our Recrafting Customer Service team directly at recrafting@allenedmonds.com or by calling 877-495-5564 to see if your pair of Eastports can be recrafted based on the size/width of your shoes and current sole inventory. Thank you for your question.

You put these on sale. The 10.5 size has been missing for over six months. What gives? I used to buy your shoes but now I’m purchasing elsewhere? These hoes are tiny. Please advise.

“Care” section says to use cream polish. If true, what color for tan? If not true, should I use only leather conditioner and water protector?

    Asked by: Bob
This may not be the answer you wanted, but boat shoes do get knocked around. They will change color over time (particularly the light tan ones). I have just used saddle soap and water to clean them, and a tan Meltonian shoe cream polish occasionally. The leather is good and durable.

The Eastport, Maritime and Force 10 have great arch support. We would recommend trying the shoes on to see which style best fits your feet. AE Consumer Care Dept.

I/m looking at the Eastport Boat Shoe. I normally wear a 6.5 D. Will the 6.5 E work for me?

    Asked by: Brent
Hello, Typically, we recommend trying the same size you usually wear and judging the fit based on how comfortable you feel in the shoes. Please keep in mind that each width increases by approximately three-sixteenths of an inch in total girth. -AE Consumer Care Dept.
