Flannel Polishing Cloth - Works as described.
The flannel polishing cloth works as advertised. I use these in my travel kit to brush away the dust and dirt that get on my shoes while traveling. Do not use too much pressure and they will not ruin your shine. Handy tool to keep in your shine box and one in your travel bag.
Recommended.

Snap Buffing
Great buffing rag; can snap buff; excellent shine with little effort; would recommend to a friend or family; would purchase again.

When do I use the Canvas side?
So for Buffing and Polishing use the soft side. When do you use the Canvas side...?
I never use the canvas side of these cloths, the finish is too coarse for the finish on my shoes. I do not even use it around the soles and heels. I use a soft horse hair bristle brush for the sole edges and heels.

Which side of the cloth should I use on my shoes?
Am I supposed to use both sides, or just the soft side of the cloth? I'm concerned that the rough side of the cloth might damage the leather.
Always the soft side. It will enhance the shine after brushing

Should I use separate cloths for applying conditioner/cleaner and buffing?
Use a different one for each color of shoes you have just like brushes so you don’t mix colors

Is there a way to wash the Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth?
The texture of the cloth may change depending upon the method that you use for washing these cloths. I recommend something like Dawn dish soap for washing in cold water, rinsing really well and line drying. To me, these are too inexpensive to both washing. Once they are heavily soiled, I just purchase another and dispose of the old one.
