Expensive
Great product but expensive for the amount included in the package. There are better values out there for products that do the same thing at a lower cost.

I see no difference
I see no difference between using this or just a regular carnauba wax shine.

Is this an aerosol spray or a "squirt spray" bottle?
The details say this is an "aerosol spray" and a 4 oz "spray bottle." The old product was a metal aerosol can. This product appears to be transparent plastic bottle, which leads me to believe it is really a "squirt" spray bottle (i.e. one push of the button releases a single spray of product). I have never seen a transparent plastic aerosol can - this material does not seem like an adequate pressure vessel.
This is a spray (squirt) bottle.

Did this replace the Spray Shoe Shine?
3.4 oz bottle
"This is the same solution we use in the factory during the final burnishing to give a bright shine to your shoes."
If not, will you be selling the Spray Shoe Shine product anymore?
We are so sorry for any confusion. The Water Protector is made to protect your shoes from water damage. This is not meant to be a shoe shine spray.

Can this be used on the Hopkinson and Lake Forest?
I was told in this section not to use this product on chromexcel leathers but then when someone asked about using it on the fifth avenue, Allen Edmonds says it is recommended for chromexcel leathers. Can you please tell me if this product should be used on the Hopkinson and Lake Forest? You may need to ask someone in the factory.
Thanks.
