Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gives a dull glow. I wanted a high gloss shine. Can't win them all. I was under the impression this product would give a high shine to my shoes. I applied shoe polish, and brushed to a shine. Then applied the spray shine from Allen Edmunds. Just a soft dull glow. Not what I expected and not what I was buying. My bad. I will know better next time. As they say "buyer beware".

How to use without leaving a matte finish?

I've read the directions, but perhaps I'm using this wrong. How EXACTLY am I supposed to get a shine out of this product? If I spray on the brush and then brush the shoe until uniformly wet, then leave it to set, I get a totally matte finish. If I spray on the brush, then brush the shoe briskly for 5 minutes, I get a very dull shine, worse I can get with polish alone, and taking more time. What am I doing wrong, or did I get a bottle of water instead?

This product should be sprayed directly on the shoe - very sparingly to avoid drips, then let dry. If it doesn't work that way, why use it?

Hi-- Can I use this right after "ordinary" polishing for some extra shine?

I usually use the conditioner followed by the premium shoe polish. Thanks!

Does this or the Carnauba wax polish achieve a greater shine?

Does this or the Carnauba wax polish achieve a greater shine? How are the ingredients different? Is this wax-based? Does this work better with a brush or cloth?
    Asked by: Jackie27
Carnauba Wax Polish is wax based and contains a small amount of dye, but the main purpose is to add a bright shine to leather. Using the cloth or brush will yield the same results in terms of shine, however the difference is that if the shoes have pinking or perfing details, the brush bristles will help get into those crevices easier. The Spray Shine is a neutral product that does not contain pigments. It can be used to add extra shine to the leather, but is not a replacement for the wax polish. Please feel free to contact us with any additional questions.
