    Care Instructions

Cordovan leather requires different care than calfskin due to its unique properties. Brush and wipe regularly and apply cream occasionally to protect the leather and maintain its rich color.

    Regular Maintenance:

Regularly, brush the leather with our Horsehair Shine Brush or wipe with our Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth.

To Protect and Restore Color, Follow These Steps:

STEP 1: Wipe your shoe down with a damp cloth and allow to dry.

STEP 2: Using your Horsehair Dauber, apply a small amount of Cordovan cream in a circular motion.

STEP 3: While the cream is still slightly wet, take our Horsehair Shine Brush and brush back and forth, heating the cream and leather. This allows the natural oils to move to the surface to bring out the leather's natural shine.

STEP 4: Next, use the soft side of our Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth to buff the shoe until the surface is no longer tacky. Often, some excess cream will transfer onto the cloth, which is normal.

STEP 5: Take our Heel Dressing applicator and press against the edge of the heel and sole.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these boots Bought my first pair in Dark Chili. I literally wear them everywhere, dressed up or down, and they always get complimented. This is a great boot for the price and being made right here in America. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Took 3 times to get a good pair... I've been buying A.E. Daltons for many years...lately the quality control is horrible. and took me 3 tries to get a decent pair that I could live with ( Still not a perfect pair ). I really don't know what happened over there? Once you get a good pair, they are great!! You must have patience and realize lot's of returns will be in order.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these boots Bought my first pair in black a year ago and just bought a second in walnut (great color) because I loved the first so much. I literally wear them everywhere, dressed up or down, and they always get complimented. Can't recommend them highly enough. A note though, I'm a solid 9D in every shoe and my first pair was a little tight at the toe. I had them stretched and was good to go, though I sized up to a 9E the second time around.

How do these boots fit for someone with a high arch on the top of their feet?

    Asked by: Matthew
I think this would work for someone with a high arch. I do not have one and found that it did not fit well for that reason. Too much room in the arch area.
