    Care Instructions

STEP 1: Using a damp cloth or sponge, lather our Saddle Soap and apply onto leather to clean and restore its natural oils.

STEP 2: Moisturize the shoes with our Cream Polish to make them supple and soft, following instructions on the product.

STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and apply to the edge of the heel and sole.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish in between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

*For camo printed leather, simply rub our Leather Lotion onto print with our Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp cloth.

Maritime Boat Shoe is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 56.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Really Disappointed with the shoe I received the shoes at home and they were tiny, like I received the wrong size or they were mismarked. I am a 81/2 eee or 9 D works most of the time on casual slip ons when 81/2 eee are not offered. These were 9 D. When I called the store about the size, they said wear them and see if they stretch. I brought them into the store to return and they said because I wore them, we can't take them back. They then stretched them on the shoe stretcher for me. Still they are too narrow and uncomfortable. The store told me to wear them again for a day, heat from the feet and walking and see if they stretch a bit after a day. No stretching, just horrible blisters on my left heal. I own over 40 pairs of wearable condition AE shoes, going back many years. I have shoes that have been refurbished and probably buy 4 or more pairs a year. I think I know the company and shoes as well as most. I had a similar problem with their Ranger boots, causing a blister over my right toe, and no matter how much I tried (using leather conditioner etc.), the crease on the toe continued to cause me blisters and pain. I think I am going to start looking elsewhere now. My loyalty has waned.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good overall shoes for the price I bought a pair of Allen Edmonds boat shoes 9 years ago. They lasted about 3 years, I felt as if though they were good shoes. I like Allen Edmonds shoes and have owned several pairs over the last decade. I am a Wisconsinite and try to buy local or regional if at all possible. I like these shoes and believe them to be of the quality that I have come to expect. My only complaint is that I wish I could buy Made in WI boat and derby shoes as I would be willing to pay more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Second pair, don’t discontinue these! These are my second pair of maritimes. 4/5 star due to always having to glue in the insole myself. The leather is horween cxl and lasts and lasts. The burgundy pair is my favorite color of any shoe and I’m sad that I can’t afford a backup pair right now. Esp if they discontinued this style :(

Is this shoe blake stitched and is it recraftable?

    Asked by: Asuka
A rounded, fuller toe handsewn last. 1/8 inch longer than the 114 last to accommodate a fuller, foam sock liner and heel-to-toe padding. This shoe is not recraftable

I want to change the laces to black...what size laces ?

Purchase a 72" inch Black leather lace and purchase the metal guide tool to lace through the brass eyes, that should take care of that...

Why do you call the shoe a "slip-on" if the laces must me tied?

    Size Question

Looks like most of the comments say this shoe runs large. I have a pair of AE boat shoes in another style that seems to be true to size. Normally wear 9.5 D. Think I should try 9? Thanks
    Asked by: Palmetto 302
I wear an 11.5 D and have found them to be just fine.
