    Care Instructions

STEP 1: Using a damp cloth or sponge, lather saddle soap and apply onto leather to clean and restore its natural oils.

STEP 2: Moisturize the shoes with cream polish to make them supple and soft, following instructions on the product.

STEP 3: Next condition the shoes with speed polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take the heel dressing applicator and press against the edge of the heels and soles.

STEP 5: Apply leather lotion as needed for added protection and polish between cleaning.

    Relaxed Fit

The relaxed fit has added space in the toe box. This extra room allows for thicker socks and foot expansion that occurs at the end of the day or during a long flight.

Crosby Street Split-toe Blucher is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Day Wearing the Crosby - Very Comfortable I just received my new pair of Crosby's yesterday. Best new shoe experience in a while! They are super comfortable for the 1st day of wear. I chose the color Cigar. It's a nice shoe color. I'm normally a 10D in most AE Lasts except 65 which I'm a 10E. The Crosby is built on the 64 Last. My 10 D pair fits very well right out of the box and looks great. An excellent value at the current sales price. It's also my first pair of AE's built with the Speed Welt. It's a lighter shoe than the Bench Welt models. Yes, I recommend these split-toe blucher shoes. They are a nice casual dress shoe that is comfortable and look great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great looks and still breaking in I bought these to have a slightly updated look to my prior standy, the Delray. I noticed these are lined differently and are requiring a bit more break in than the Delray. These are true to size and provide room at the to section. The design is very nice and the walnut color is versatile.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Carbon is more Gray-Brown than Black Great looking shoe and outstanding craftsmanship (of course). They are very comfortable to slide on, as well as walk in. Leather is a touch lighter than the Park Avenue shoe. But I think that’s the Italian leather trend. However, I purchased the shoe in Carbon not really considering what that meant. I assume that was just a clever new moniker for Black. It’s not. Carbon (in this case) is dark gray with light undertones of brown. They looked “okay” with navy and gray pants, but not nearly as good as black. They are not available in black yet. I returned these for a different black shoe. Return was easy, no hassle. BTW, the brown tones looked great in the Crosby as well. If I didn’t already have several brown shoes, this would have been a no-brainer swap.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really nice, but...... I really appreciate the space that this shoe occupies in my lineup. I ordered the cigar color, and while it I not as rich and vibrant as some cigar colored shoes offered by other manufacturers, it is nice. I have no concerns whatsoever with the color of the shoes and appreciate the dress yet down to earth personality of them. You can easily dress them up or down. All of that said, I find the rear of the leather upper to extend too high. The impact of this is that they dig into my ankles and at the end of the day my ankles look and feel like they were in a fight....swollen, tender, etc. I do not have this issue with any other Allen Edmonds shoes, and I have worn plenty. This does not make the shoe universally bad, just bad for me. Everybody’s anatomy is different, and others may not have this problem. I still like them, just can’t wear them.

What color polish is recommended for the Crosby street in “carbon””

    Asked by: Doc
We recommend Neutral polish for this style, as this is what is used at our factory during finishing. If you are unable to cover any deep scuffs, you can spot treat them with a small amount of a dark shoe polish such as black to minimize their appearance. We do recommend trying it on an inconspicuous area of the shoes first to ensure you like the results. Feel free to contact us again with any other questions!

Is this made on the same last as the Kingsley?

    Asked by: Timothy
The Kingsley was made on the discontinued 890 Last, and the Crosby style is constructed on the 64 Last. The 64 Last is slightly longer and roomy across the ball and forepart of the foot providing a more “relaxed fit.” Feel free to contact us again with any other questions.

    Order # 1526515

...had to return the 10 1/2D shoes (rt. shoe OBVIOUS defect/rippled tong & face/top of shoe) to outlet store in Paramus, NJ, yesterday, Saturday 8/15. Store Mgr. Karina, so professional/polite, agreed and accepted the shoes to be returned to mfgr. I, then, had to order another pair & pay a second time. That's OK! However, don't you perform an inspection of the shoes before you mail? I'm also curious...I have 12 pair of Allen Edmond shoes. Each purchase included cloth sleeves to protect the shoes. This last purchase did not! Again, are these shoes 2nds? I did not purchase 2nds if you read your web offer of an add'l. 30% off. Thank you for your consideration. I hope to hear from you soon.

    I wear a 12D in the 65 last, would a 11.5D be good size in the 64?

    Asked by: Anonymous
the 64 last is an adaptation from the famous 65 last. While the 65 last is our most popular, Classic fitting last, the 64 is slightly roomier across the ball and forepart of the foot providing a more “relaxed fit.” This last keeps all of the same defining characteristics of the 65, but is slightly longer for an updated and sophisticated spin on the classic.
