STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and apply to the edge of the heel and sole.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish in between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

Park Avenue Weatherproof Cap-Toe Oxford with Dainite Rubber Sole is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Looking Cap Toe Dress Shoe on the Market; like the rubber sole as I manage a restaurant. Excellent quality, comfort and fit. Style feels "long" as the cap toe narrows but overall I am extremely pleased with the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for This is my second pair of AE's. The first are a pair of black Carlyles that I also love. These are better for me, because they have a rubber sole. I'm on my feet all day long, on a mix of thin commercial carpet, tile, and a bit of pavement and concrete. Concrete is too rough for leather, which brought me to these. These are fine for me for all day wear. I'm not tired, or uncomfortable. Prior to these I've been wearing suede walking shoes, Brooks, which are also comfortable for all day wear, but they look silly in an office environment. Low end dress shoes aren't comfortable to me past 30 minutes, and I'm in pain at the end of a day in them. These aren't the least expensive shoes in the world, but if having to dress in the business world is what puts food on the table, I think they're worth it. Per mile walked I'm sure they're worth it. I'm 6', about 185, size 10.5 D, so not a tiny person but not a big guy, either. These fit me, with non-wide feet. I'm lucky that I can wear a standard size shoe, and that I can be on my feet in a good pair of shoes all day long...I'm not saying these are magic. But to me, way better than the much thinner soled dress shoes you'll see at the mall, sometimes with name brands, at half the price. And by better I mean more comfortable. I'm not a spokesman for this outfit, I'm just mentioning it because well built things are becoming more rare, and the more people are aware of these, the better the company should do, and the more likely they'll be around for me to buy more when they wear out. 90% selfish. The 10% is if you get these and your feet feel better, you can thank me and pay it forward w/ someone else or something. Oh, and yeah, I do sometimes get comments on these. They will probably be the most classically elegant shoes in whatever room you're in, but that's not why I bought them. That's just a bonus.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shoes in style, design and quality. I cant recall the number of pairs of AE shoes i have bought over the years. However this is the 1st part with Dainite soles. These are very comfortable however the left shoe is slightly mis-shaped and looking down appears odd. Unfortunately i fell out with the local store Management and their unacceptable service so only now buy online wont return them !

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid choice I walk for my commute. These shoes look good enough to go anywhere, and they’re light and comfortable. We’ll see how they hold up. The leather has a little bit of a cheap looking shine causing them to scuff easily. Minor complaint. Can’t imagine that others notice. I have two pair.

    Can waterproof shoes absorb products?

I'm interested in a few of your weather/water proof shoes, however, isn't their design made up so they don't absorb anything moist? Does this mean they can't absorb any cream?
    Asked by: Jj
While weatherproof items are made to not absorb water, they should still be polished to maintain their shine.

Will these shoes be resistant to salt stains?

Now that these shoes are weatherproof, will the leather not get salt stains if caught in snow? Or are these shoes just as vulnerable to salt stains as your regular leather shoes?
    Asked by: Renato
I'm just a guy that lives in snow country and has had a lot of shoes and boots, so take this for what it's worth. Being weatherproof, the salt and the water won't get into the inside of the shoe, unless you get snow inside. That's the great news. But the outside of a shoe, either leather or boots that are nylon, can get salt on the outside. Keeping them polished/wax will help keep this from getting into the leather, but salt on the outside is bad for the leather. So you should get the salt off as soon as possible once they get inside. Just wipe off anything wet, then wipe off with damp cloth and dry. Pretty sure this is true for any shoe. Here's why, 2 reasons - first, salt dries things out. Think of what it does to your hands, or a dogs paws. Second thing, told to my by a chemist/dry-cleaner, salt is made of little tiny crystals that are very sharp. Salt left on things makes microscopic little cuts in them. Leather holds up better than cordura nylon does, but salt still hurts it. So wipe off.
