    Care Instructions

STEP 1: Using a damp cloth or sponge, lather our Saddle Soap and apply onto leather to clean and restore its natural oils.

STEP 2: Moisturize the shoes with our Cream Polish to make them supple and soft, following instructions on the product.

STEP 3: Condition the shoes with our Speed Polish, protecting them from dirt, rain and snow.

STEP 4: Take our Heel dressing applicator and apply to the edge of the heel and sole.

STEP 5: Apply our Leather Lotion as needed for added protection and polish in between cleanings. Use our Horsehair Shine Brush to buff shoes to a desired shine.

*For camo printed leather, simply rub our Leather Lotion onto print with our Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp cloth.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable shoe at first wearing. Shoes were very comfortable right out of box on first wearing for a long day on my feet. I did have to polish them for a bit of a shine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from UPDATE So because of Covid I was laid off...Once I finally got to wear my new shoes I noticed at the end of the 2nd day a severe irritation on the top of both my feet. Upon further investigation I realized that was due to defective shoes. Yes...both shoes have a defect! The tongue is not straight and is forming a crease at its base causing a large ridge that is digging into my feet. Unfortunately even though I've only worn these shoes twice I have owned them for several months and now I find out they're unwearable and un-returnable. Unfortunately it seems that my patronage with Allen Edmonds may have to come to an end. Customer service separates the true from the others...let's see if Allen Edmonds comes through.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Utilitarian Shoe Shoe fits well. I'm a 10EEE so the choice out there is not huge. I either spend the beans on Allen Edmonds or I go cheap and wear clown shoes. On sale still out of my price range but once every couple of years I make an exception. These aren't fancy shiny dress shoes, more of a high end better than the others utilitarian work shoe. I bought these to replace my Clark Streets with the Dainite sole, if they last half as long I'll be happy! Only negative thing I see so far is that the laces are too short.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than the original Road Warrior! I own the first and current generation Road Warrior. The first generation is nothing more than an overpriced Rockport. The Seattle Split-Toe looks good with dress clothing. It does not crease like the first generation shoe and It holds a shine. It is slightly stiffer out of the box, but so is a Park Avenue. I expect it will break-in and be a comfortable shoe. I intend to purchase another pair.

    Comparison to MSP?

How is this new Seattle different, if at all, from the similar looking MSP in the Road Warrior series?
    Asked by: northern Minnesota
Both the Seattle and MSP are manufactured on the 511G last. They should fit the same. Please remember to try your shoes on a carpeted surface to keep them in returnable condition.

Will an orthotic fit in the shoe?

    Asked by: T223
Thank you for your interest in Allen Edmonds footwear. Understanding that all orthotics are made a little different, the Seattle Travel Split-Toe Derby does feature the removable Traveler cushioned insole. This may allow your orthotic to fit in the shoe. We hope this information is helpful!
