STEP 3: Protect your shoes from dirt, rain and snow and enhance the shine and color with our Speed Polish.

STEP 4: Apply our Leather Lotion to protect the heels and edges of your shoes.

*For camo printed leather, simply rub our Leather Lotion onto leather with our Cotton Flannel Polishing Cloth as needed and wipe smudges or dirt away with a damp cloth.

    Relaxed Fit

The relaxed fit has added space in the toe box. This extra room allows for thicker socks and foot expansion that occurs at the end of the day or during a long flight.

Porter Derby Sneaker is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 115.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from With quick modifications, these fit wonderfully I have over 20 pair of Allen Edmond shoes and I first got a pair of these two years ago. As other reviewers noted at the time, the shoes (made in Portugal) seemed a bit stiffer and tighter than other AE shoes but then I made some easy modifications (I now have two more pair of these with the same modifications): removed the full length insole inserts (which actually were ok and could have been kept) and substituted 3/4 arch supports; removed the laces and then re-laced the shoes to be somewhat less tight and without using the center tab, which caused the shoes to cut in too much; and bent the shoes a few times to give some initial flexibility. Upon the very first wearing, they now are as comfortable as all my other AE shoes were upon a first wearing, and I know from the other two pair, within a month these will be so comfortable it will almost be like going barefoot. Plus they look great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Long Term I bought them at full retail a couple years ago. I initially was very happy with these when I bought them even though they were fairly difficult to break in. I wear them maybe 2-3 times a month on average. I roll on the outside of my step. After about the 10th time wearing the shoe, the bottom piece of rubber started coming off. I still really like the upper, but the sole is horrible. It feels like it isn't very supportive and now rolls under the shoe when I walk. I wish they had a different, higher quality sole. I've thought about getting the courtside sneaker, but they have worse reviews...really wish the quality were better for the price point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classiest sneaker on the market Have been wearing AE dress shoes for 30 years, but these might be my favorites. Bought a brown pair last year and a black pair a few weeks ago. Brilliant construction, comfy fit, and they’re just perfect understated elegance with a pair of jeans. Can’t recommend enough!

What is the best way to care for these?

    Asked by: JS
Thank you for your inquiry regarding the best way to care for your Porter Derby sneakers! We recommend the following process: 1. Apply Saddle Soap to clean the shoes and then Leather lotion to moisturize the leather. 2. Follow with Shoe Polish. We also recommend rotating your shoes with at least 2 other pairs. This is an important part of the shoe care process to extend the life of the upper and soles. You can find all of our care products here: https://www.allenedmonds.com/shoe-care/ We hope this information is helpful!
